         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Species richness<br></strong>Species richness is the number of different species represented in an ecological community, landscape or region.<br><strong>Species diversity<br></strong>Species diversity is the number of different species that are represented in a given community.<br><strong>Percentage cover</strong><br>Percent cover is an efficient means of understanding the relative abundance and contribution to the ecosystem made by different plants<br><strong>Percentage frequency</strong><br>Percentage frequency is the probability that a species will be found within a single quadrat.<br><strong>Simpson's Diversity Index</strong><br>Simpson's diversity index (SDI) measures community diversity. Although it's commonly used to measure biodiversity, it can also be used to gauge diversity differences in populations in schools, communities and other locations.</div>]]></description>
