I spent the majority of my early years that I can remember living in Loveland and Fort Collins. But I currently live in Thornton CO and have for the past 8 years!

My generation is still very young, which pushes us more left. We are generally more focused on mental health awareness than other generations and have grown up alongside social media. Gen Z is also the most racially and ethnically diverse generation in U.S. History.

Family

Both my Mom and Dad work at retail stores. Although my Mom was a stay at home mom for 14 years and would babysit at our home. My Dad worked his way up to a manager position when he was only 19! My parents always taught me to be inclusive and accepting of everyone. They also believe in focusing on education as well as having good social responsibility.

Friends

I believe that I have very politically diverse friends. I have friends that grew up very differently and their parents who had very different backgrounds and have taught their kids very different morals. I also have friends who live in different cities. In general, my friends that live nearby and go to the same school as me share similar political values compared to me.

I've lived my whole life in a blue state. Thornton also generally votes blue on many political votes. But, my Mom is from Iowa which is considered a red state.
