Vet techs must become certified, licensed or registered to practice, depending on the state. The VTNE is a 4-hour, 200 multiple choice question certification exam. The VTNE is prepared exclusively by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB).

I think you will then start to make 36.6k - 43.6k a year then you can advance to being a veterinarian and then you make a lot more. Technicians must be able to deal with upset owners, aggressive or uncooperative animals, euthanasia, and seeing severe injuries caused by trauma or neglect. Stress is one of the biggest factors cited by techs that decide to leave the profession. Long hours and also a risk of injury.

You love being around animals,Vet Techs are in high demand, and the field continues to grow,You get to help pet owners, too, It doesn’t take as long as you think to become a vet tech, and, You’ll never experience the same day twice.

What i like least is that it can be a very long job and you can deal with very aggressive animals. 

It would be a very easy to get another job in your field it's a very high demand for veterinary technician.

I feel like i can do this job because i am an animal, science, and technology lover.I can get along with many people and try to reach with them on a personal level. I think i would like it because i get to meet new faces everyday and just have a lot to do.
