Different countries made an adjustment to at least help ease the problem with the crisis. Others lessen the use of non-renewable energy in order to save.

This summarizes the plan of Alberta to buy an oil refinery. This is to transform and produce gasoline from crude oil. Not just to solve the oil crisis, this will also help Canadians make job for their living. This also makes sense because of the geographical location in Alberta, they are rich in oil, which will be a good result in the market.

Oil crisis because of labor shortages

This is a good takeaway that we can consider why there is an oil crisis nowadays. We know that oil and gas industry are big roles in Canada. Though they offer a good pay or benefits, it is a problem for them because they are having a hard time attracting laborers to work with them. Lesser workers mean lesser production when it comes to operations.

This video answers the question why. US has the financial capability of buying crude oil from Canada. This also explains the different ways to transport oil from Canada such as sea, pipeline, and rail. Geography plays a big role in supply chain of the petroleum.

This website summarizes that even though Canada is rich in oil, transportation is a hindrance in terms of moving the oil from one province to another. We know that Alberta is rich in oil, and it is in the western part of Canada. However, most of the populations live in other provinces of Canada making it hard to move the oil form one place to another.

1.) I am surprised that even countries that are rich in oil can still experience the oil crisis. I am also surprised that there are shortages in workers in this industry even though the pay is good.
2.) This is interesting because all of us are consuming non-renewable energy in our everyday lives. This is also evident as I am commuting every day and see the changes in figures when it comes to prices per gallon.
3.) I would pass on the different factors affecting the prices. They may only see the effects of changes, but there are a lot of things to consider.
