The most difficult part of making this vase would be the slab-making process. Since my slab was so enormous, it took quite a bit of care to roll it out without it cracking. And, now that I look back, I think it would have been better to make a smaller slab. The decoration covering the slab is a variety of faces. These faces represent my (crummy) cartoon-like art style. The best part of this project, for me, is the fact it shows the viewer a little part of me. I chose to glaze this with wonder glazes and woodland fantasy. All the faces have a custom glaze job, with clear glaze to finish. And the rest of the vase is covered with woodland fantasy. Unfortunately it was too tall for me to glaze thoroughly inside and I will not be able to put liquid in it.
