--Uncle Wants To Go Back And Help More People, Maybe Even Find The Parents! Uncle Also Would Only Leave Salva Because He Feels Its Right But Then Uncle Left In A Worse Way... With Death.

--Before When Uncle Was Around The Group Thought Not To Mess WIth Salva Because Uncle Cared For Him And Was Leader Of The Group But Then Once The Nuer Group Attacked, Stole Uncles Gun And Killed Him Which Made The Group Have No Other Reason To Respect Salva, He Would Lag Behind Like In The Desert, Hes A Child, So Salva Then On Kept Going With Uncles Words Echoing In His Mind, The Thoughts Of His Uncle, The Thoughts Of Marial And The Thoughts Of His Family All Wanting Him To Keep Going, Never Give Up, He Kept Going But Never Proved Himself.

4.)What event within the camp makes Salva realize that his family is gone and what memory helps him to survive in the camp?

-He Saw A Lady In A Orange Scarf Of Whom May Have Been His Mother, It Wasn't So He Realized His Family Was Gone, Salvas Uncle Pushing Him Through In The Desert Helped Salva Go On! Salba Also Knew That His Family Would Want Him To Push On, Uncle Would... Marial Would..... Everyone Who Loves Him Would!

  
* If Salva was older i'm 100% sure that he would have shared his water with the dying men because as his uncle had said, if he were older and the least bit stronger then yes he would have been able to manage without a bunch of water. Salva doesn't want anyone to die especially since his friend (marial) got mauled by a lion *

Why do you think that Uncle wants to go back and fight in the War and leave Salva on his own?

Uncle wants to go back because he doesn't want anyone else to die and he just wants all of the destruction to stop so the least bit thing that he could do is fight. He tries to make sure that he doesn't give up hope so..he keeps going.

They're attitude changes because they no longer have a leader to push them and protect and make sure that Salva is safe. They think that since the uncle isn't there then Salva is going to fall behind and hold them up as he did in the desert.

 

*Its a 50/50 he would of but being that he is 17 now, still a teenager by the way not a adult until 20, but im sure Salva would though.

*Probably so Salva can learn how to survive on his own and get things right basically. one step at a time.

*Because for one his Uncle died, two hes a child, three act stronger then his age.

*Seeing a orange headscarf and realizing his family probably did not survive. he keeps going because of Marial and his uncle.

They change there mind because uncle dies so they start to doubt him he will probably stay strong to prove them wrong.
