Kristen and I discussed how important it is to be positive and authentic when building the relationship. I had the opportunity to observe Kristen last year work with students and brought several things she did back to the classroom. Kristen interacts with students at their level. If they are sitting she gets down on a knee or pulls up a seat next to them.
