Materials: 

· Large bin (or bathtub) can take activity outside and place smaller containers on floor

· Varied sized plastic containers (cups, bowls, Tupperware)

· Water
(you can use food coloring to change the color of the water if you would like also)

Very simple set up. You can either use a big plastic bin or place small containers on the floor outside and use a cup or pitcher filled with water to pour into the containers. Feel free to bring toys into it and test to see if they will float or sink.

- ice tray (cups or bowls)
- corn starch
- baby shampoo/body wash
- food coloring (I mixed a few drops of different colors together to get a bunch of colors to play with)
- spoon for mixing
- measuring spoons

Recipe: 
1 tbs cornstarch
Couple pumps of soap
2 tsp water 
1-2 drops of food coloring (I used more to get different colors)

-Plastic animal toys (you can use the little sea creatures sent home for the gel sensory bag activity like I did in the video example)

Put shaving cream in bin/tray add a couple drops of food coloring and swirl with spoon or fork. Add plastic toys. Put in freezer and allow to freeze. It will be cold and slightly stiff to the touch when ready. You child will explore texture, temperature and color changing in this activity! 

Mix water and cornstarch. Fill up ice tray then add a couple drops of food coloring in each section. place plastic wrap or foil over the tray and poke holes for popsicle sticks to set in the middle of the liquid to freeze.

Action Agent Sheet

Materials needed:

You will need a cardboard box, small colored popsicle sticks, markers, and scissors or a box cutter. In my video, I used a shoe box with a lid, but you could use any kind of cardboard box. Use scissors or a box cutter to cut 6 slits small enough for the Popsicle sticks to fit through. Mark the slits with different colored markers (red, blue, green, yellow, orange, and purple). Then have your child stick the Popsicle sticks in the matching colored slit. 

You will need the colored construction paper and paint that was sent home on Friday. Try to have your child use their pointer finger to write out their name with the paint. Please save left over paint for future uses!

I used blocks, bowls with lids, and books on my video but you can use anything that  you can stack into a tower.
