1. I did all obligatory tasks at work on Monday. This is a kind of great point to keep up and increase responsibilities.

2. This weekend I realized that my French has come along a lot recently – I have got progress and I can hear and understand some words and phrases in French rap songs. Yep, rap is one of the most complicated “listening” in frame of foreign language educational process (even for English, like music of Eminem or Snoop Dogg), but here I am. Next step will be films of Luc Besson without Russian translation - Taxi, for instance =D

3. My cat was making biscuits while I was doing home-tasks for my university program all weekend. Kitty helped me to do it faster :) As a result, I had time to watch movies and relax. I guess home-pets can influence to human capability, they must be with their masters while meetings.

Today I walked for a long time from a company office to a specific supermarket through a new neighborhood. the aim of my stroll was pesto. around 20-30% of appartmet houses on my way are just being built, that is why there was a lot of dirt. it was the first time when i chose this way, so the dirt was a shitty surprise for me. however, when I reached the shop, i felt God's blessing - there was a huge discount on pesto. that's why i decided to take 3 cans

Today was a very busy working day. But the weekend was quite interesting. Firstly, I got present from my friend - virtual assistant "Aliсe". I'm very happy with this gift, because I've wanted it for a long time. Now I can talk to her in the evenings, listen to my favorite music and also ask her to tell me and my cat stories.

On Saturday I went to my friends. We watched my favorite TV series — "Friends", laughed a lot and ate delicious food. We also discussed the New Year and it seems that I'll have to look for a New Year's costume, since my friends have planned a costume party.

Today was a usual working day. I woke up, made myself breakfast, read a book and forced myself to go to the coworking. I forced myself, `cause the weather outside was like a snowstorm. But thanks to my winter clothes and shoes, I was dry
By the way, on the way back snow melted and every piece of the ground was a mess.
After dinner I decided to play with artificial intelligence. The rules are simple: You give it words, it offers you pictures.
So I noticed hilarious thing. AI doesn`t interpret "salmon" as a real fish, just slices for sushi (leftward on the picture). But if we`re talkin about "troat", then it`s a fish (rightward on the picture).

This weekend was nice. I tried to cook a new recipe, very autumn one - fritters with pumpkin and apple. The cooking process was not hard and I was glad by the result. But I didn't take a photo, so I attach the image from cooking site, sorry... My fritters was not so orange but anyway tasty.

Brenda Ann Spencer once said "I don't like Mondays" so I wanna describe my previous day. It was a warm sunny morning so I decided to have breakfast somewhere outside. I chose a small cozy restaruant near the subway station. I had English breakfast which included fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms and etc. It was a huge plate and of course I ate it all. After the dish i drank around two cups of Earl Grey. It was a wonderful morning.

Dobar dan from Belgrade!
As my Monday was quite busy working, I'd rather tell you about my weekends which were pretty good ;)
On Saturday I slept a lot. Slowly mornings are the best ones! We decided to have breakfast somewhere in the city centre and went there by bus. Then we bought Russian-Serbian book with lots of easy dialogues and found a nice spot for breakfast (probably lunch as it was already 1 pm). After sitting in the sun eating we went for a walk around the fortress (photo you see is from there) and came back home.
Yeasterday I slept even more which was great! During breakfast we saw a cat on the top of a tree in front of our window. It probably was hunting for a bird. We were a bit confused and worried but everything turned OK with the cat. It came to the ground pretty easily. In the evening we bought a lot of chips and nuts and watched a movie called The Ninth Gate. Liked it.

First af all, I helped my car to pass the next maintenance.
While waiting my iron horse, I visited one of my favorite restaurants and tasted delicious food of ukrainian and belarusian cuisine.
After that, I returned home and ordered gifts for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, which will be held next weekend.
But Sunday was the best. I did almost nothing and slept a lot after a hard working week.

I had a very busy weekend.

On Friday, at first, I was at my sister birthday. Then I went to Salsa club. I was there until early in the morning and that time I felt like I'm a teenager.

On Saturday I was at Paleontological museum. There were so many children who ran and screamed and there were so many exhibits that I quickly got tired and felt like I'm pretty old woman. I hope it's just because I slept very little after Salsa club ;)

On Sunday I was at Danse studio. I went back to dance school again after two-year break. I started my exercises as a beginner. But it was so difficult for my legs and lungs, so this time I already felt like I'm a very-very old woman

On Saturday, I was woken up by a courier call. I finally got a huge package for my new hobby - sketching. 120 colored markers, my inner child was just over the moon. But, as an responsible adult it tooks forever (not a joke) to sort everything by color, make a test and draw a small sketch. It was worth it, order in the work space - order in the head, right?
The rest of weekend I devoted to online shopping (God save 11.11). I ordered gifts and started planning New Year's party.

Actually I had very busy weekends as I just moved to another country and always have a lot of unpredictable things to do. Monday was my first day of working after “travelling vacation” and it brought me feeling that something stays constantly in my life - my work. So I had no stress at all (comparing with previous week). I was just happy doing what I’m doing. Small things are the best.

Also I spent nice time during lunch - Sun was shining and I had an opportunity to enjoy it sitting in city centre drinking fabulous coffee. Having time of my life.

And last but not least is that during the weekends I met a lot of nice helpful friendly people. They all were trying to understand what I’m saying and provide me some help. This is the best I think. Polako!

Usually, me weekends are rather busy with different important routine as working out or visiting my beauty-fairies (with the song in my head by Todrick Hall - Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels). I really can’t imagine Saturday morning without this “Let’s treat myself good, giiiiiirrrl”!!!! :)

These Saturday and Sunday weren’t an exception. I did all the things that helped me to feel good and relaxed.

The best things about these weekends were meeting with my friends (whom I haven’t seen for a while) at our all-time-best restaurant “Chestnaya ryba” (if you are in Moscow, find some time and visit this magnificent place!) and having massage session as far as my muscles are very stiff after hard training. It was real pleasure!

Aaaaand what’s more important this weekend (as all my weekends) was a great chance for me to sleeeeeeeeep. I’m so happy about it as far as on working-days I have to wake up at 6 a.m. to be able to do swimming in the pool before work.

To sum it all up, it was my regular marvelous weekend with self-care and nice leisure time with friends 😊

It was a difficult Monday, every one of them in November to be honest. However, I can recall a few good things from the weekend. First of all, I finally took a nice long walk around the city while strange bright yellow spot were hanging in the sky (extremely rare weather condition in this season). Also I have baked a delicious cake with honey and sour cream (picture attached). Last but not the least, I have talked with my close friend, who have moved to Turkey several month ago. It was hard to find the perfect time in our schedules, but I’m happy we made it!

From Monday to Friday I pretend to be a healthy person: sports, healthy food, water, vitamins!? coffee...
(coffee is a huge part of the healthy lifestyle. Period. Nobody can argue that!!)
But on weekend I meet my partner in crime and we go to eat!
On Saturday we were at the 'Proza Breakfast" restaurant. Highly recommend! The restaurant is located opposite the Church of the Savior on Blood, good view, btw.
They have breakfast all day and it's great when you want pancakes at 8 pm and get them!

The lyrics are quate simple – it’s about life of Rasputin in Russia. Rasputin is one of the most worldwide person, there are a huge number of opinions about his influence to Royal Family.

Past Simple is the main time using in sentences. The lyrics include Russian word “kasachok” (meaning - type of dance) and weird word “wunderbar” while modern people can say “genius” or “prodigy” or “miracle”. It obliviously, that wunderbar used for rhyme.

Song presents all history of Rasputin. You can hear dynamic chorus by the end of song - the last one is about his probably death while others are about his relationship with Queen.

Why:
This is the most meaningful part of my favorite LP song.
When I heard it the first time, I was in the 3rd class of the school. I didn't understand the meaning of the lyrics, but it made me a fan of it immediately.
Now I understand more and think, this song has a lot of different thoughts and philosophical meanings about a time, our lifetime process, and the end of all of it.

So for now one of my favourite songs is Stockholm Syndrome by blink-182. It`s dark song, with subtext of understanding of death and life, but also catchy and make me wanna go to their concert and cry out the words with the band.

There are some interesting things about this song:
1) In the beginning a woman`s reading the actual letter from bassists grandfather to bassists grandmother from the WW2. It makes song even deeper. Song can represent feelings and thoughts of his grandfather on the war.
2) Also because of 2 singers in the verse, some part of lyrics can has 2 versions.
If we read words in the lyrics, they would look like these:
"Where do we go? Life's temporary
After we're gone like New Year's resolutions"
But if we tries to follow the singers narration, they would look like these:
“Where do we go? After we`re gone
Life's temporary like New Year's resolutions”
And both versions make sense.

From the very morning today I was mumbling Ed Sheeran's song which is called Bad Habits. Last summer when it was released I could listen only for it for a loooong time. I don't know, it's so dynamic and everytime I want to dance and move while listening. I am litterally losing control!
I was trying to learn lyrics as well, but it was hard! The chorus is a bit tricky. Try to sing for the first time and you'll see)
Anyways, now I've learnt mostly all lyrics by heart and it's amazing how our brain is working! This song is just in my mind)

I haven't learned this song yet, to be honest. But the lyrics live in my head, deeply inside.
Every good novel has a death at the end, and this composition is the best novel which was written by Eminem/Dido. During the song we can follow the development of events in the sick fan head. Fan narrates us about his every day life, dreams, hidden desires. He projects emotions on a listener and lets us dive into his world.

I would like to tell you about the previous weekend, because nothing interesting happened to me this weekend.

Last weekend I went to Arkhyz and Dombay, and it was exciting.

On Dombai we climbed to a height of 3170 m on the Mussa-Achitar mountain, and the wind blew us away.

We also visited the Shaonin temple, which is on top of the mountain with crazy views.

I recommend everyone to visit Karchaevo-Circassia because it has very beautiful nature and delicious food.

I think it's one of the best decisions in such situations. Because there are a lot of rise and fall in whole life and it doesn't matter if you don't think about yourself first. Music is one of the most important parts of my life. And it’s not even buzzwords that people like to say. Since my school years I’ve been incapable to do anything in silence.

Fun fact is that normally people need some calmness to concentrate, and I have an opposite situation. If I want to be able to focus on something I need music. It somehow helps my brain to catch with the workflow. And my concentration becomes better when I know the songs that I listen. Maybe the singing during working process helps me to create my “safe space” and to do something monotonous just in case not to be disturbed by something from the outwards.

I like good stories! Everywhere: in books, films, TV series, anime, cartoons. My favourite genres is fantasy, science fiction, adventures, mystery.
I started to read when I was 3 y.o., thanks to my parents. It was very exciting, I loved reading so much! But my eyes didn't like it and now I wear glasses with -9 diopters. I want to do surgery to fix it someday.
I'm also trying to learn Japanese bit by bit. It was my dream - to visit Japan~ But now I'm doing it mostly for fun sometimes.
I like video games, but not competitive, mostly something with exploring, rogue-like or pixel indie. Also I had VR at home for a year and I was quite good in slicing cubes to the rhythm in one music game. I miss it~
In this year I finally found a good programs for physical trainings at home and I'm not dropping it, hooray! My health became much better than last years.

Home made "Shurpa" soup

For the last two months, I was the most excited about the taste of self-made "Shurpa" soup. Which we made with my colleagues while we were temporarily living in one apartment in Kazakhstan.
It was spicy, rich broth, with a bright taste of lamb, which was complemented by an equally bright vegetable bouquet. I did really enjoy the experience of cooking and eating this dish with my bro's :D.

Fun fact:
We used a condiment of "hops-suneli" according to the receipt and there was one problem - all that this spice could touch was doomed to smell of it. And you can't just wash your hands and get rid of it so simply. No. You have to live with it for a couple of hours after.

Frankly speaking,I’m very enthusiastic about trying different national dishes and discovering new atmospheric restaurants.

In course of my autumn vacation I visited one the world’s 50 best restaurants,awarded with the Michelin star🌟 To be honest,from the very beginning, I was skeptical about this place as Michelin restaurants are commonly believed to be unreasonably expensive,the food is not tasty as it might be. But this one has conservative prices.

But a Salmon tartare with figs сhanged my mind about the restaurant.Despite its simple but laconic serving,the dish made me feel on cloud nine. The tart taste of figs perfectly complemented the tender salmon melting in the mouth. The smell of this dish plunged me into the atmosphere of the Mediterranean. And a glass of white Italian wine emphasised an originality of the dish.

This place pleasantly surprised me with its gastronomic diversity and deserved being in my favourites list💜.

In general I love to cook. But I give special attention to breakfast. The right start to the day is very important. I watch my diet, try to keep calories and get nutrients. I am on a strict detox program that lasts 28 days. Today was the day of the nutrition report for my trainer and my breakfast is presented on the photo. The steak was flavored and juicy, the vegetables gave freshness to the scrambled eggs, and the caviar sandwich went well with herbal tea. The breakfast was tasty and healthy. And the energy was enough for the whole day.

Recently I have cooked an absolutely sweetest cake with too much chocolate. According to the recipe I have used about 300 grams of milk chocolate and about 200 grams of dark chocolate. Besides that I have added a cacao and condensed milk to the dough. Can you imagine how sweet it was? Despite this it was a very soft and delicious chocolate cake.
This week I'm planning to cook my favorite marshmallow with berries, which is more tender and tastier than store-bought ;P

The simplest and one of the tastiest is sandwich with goat cheese. And it's especially good when you eat it on fresh air.
At my parents' dacha we have a bread-bake machine. We take recently baked domestic bread, put a slice of goat cheese on it and cover it with a part of tomato, which was just picked up.

Sweets are tasty things, no doubt. However, I want to talk about Moscow shawarma. I cook it when my household ask me.

You should buy pita and spicy slices of carrot. You have to fry chicken,slice cucumbers, salad and tomatoes (if you like the last one). You have to cook "ketchunez" as a mix of ketchup and mayonnaise. You have to decompose all ingridients to pita and roll it. Then you should fry it on the corrugated pan.

It tastes yammy ,it smells awesome!

First of all I'm in love with Japan and I like food, so in my cheaters days I (with or without my partners in crime) go to try something unusual
A few weeks ago we were in Izakaya.
Izakaya is a type of informal Japanese bar serving alcoholic drinks and snacks.
They have extraordinary dessert on their menu: Mochi (Japanese rice cake) with Akmella, also has known as electric flower.
That tiny little thing on top of mochi turns your taste expectations upside down.
So you need to chew the flower and your tongue starts to tingle (electric flower remember) and then go try the mochi

My latest photo/video with food is from Lebanon. Not so long ago I was on a trip to Lebanon and I tried there amazing sweets - I think the most famous sweets in country. I'm pretty neutral about bakhlava, honey-nut rolls and other eastern desserts. But these were incredible. Not too sugary flavour, many different nuts (the rolls with pistachios were over the top), every ingredient was just enough in every sweet. We've taken away about 2kilos of different rolls, bisquits, desserts - and we still want more. Whenever you are in Lebanon - try Hallab sweets, it's worth it!

I love cooking and do it often at home.
But my favorite food, after all, is fast food. I know it's unhealthy, but I can't stop myself.

Recently I wrote about my meal but every task should be done so let's go.
I wanna tell you about my second date with my current GF. We visited a restaurant which called "Myzhenaty". I can translate it with two ways: "We are married" and "We are close". The second traslation can give an essence. So, we ordered a bottle of basil wine and a huge plate of ribs with different pickles. We used plastic gloves to eat this delisious dish.
So if you're goin' to visit Saint-Petersburg you should reserve a table at this restauant. Especially if you like ribs. By the way, you can buy a limitless dish of ribs which will refresh every hour.

Several months ago I tried kimbap in korean restaurant and liked it more than sushi, cause it`s more juicy and contains a lot more filling than rice.
On the next weekends I made it bt myself at home. My Kimbap contained korean carrot, omelet, avocado, cucumber, cream cheese. Also you can add some ham or chicken.
It was very tasty, than it felt like I ate like 2000 calories at one time.

Yesterday I saw The Big Lebowski. I've seen it before, but it was so good for the friday mood. I can't call it my favorite movie, but I like it, it's really fun! I've heard a theory, that says like every person in this movie knows that they're in a movie, except Donny. Everyone is a bright character with its own history, and its own plot, and they want everything went according to a plan, to a script. And Donny seems like a normal person, most of the time he doesn't know what's going on, and asks logical questions, but everyone else are just ignored him (because it wasn't on their scripts). It sounds interesting (google it, there's a video about it).

I watched many films which are favorite for me. Task of day 5 brought me to watch classic foreign film of 1997 year- The Fifth Element.

I watched it hundred times in a childhood (mainly on STS-channel with memorable Russian dubbing). Et..voila - this Saturday I dedicated some time to watch this movie on English.

This film illustrates great power of love as one of the life elements. I like this film because it teaches us to be strong even when all evidences are opposed to our direction. The weapon to prevent evil can't include rude methods. Also this movie presents interesting and colorful future, huge progress of human in space 🪐☄️(this theme was significant popular for second part of XX century). Bruce Willis stole hearts 💜of many Russian women by casting in this action movie))

Today I rewatched the movie "Back to the Future". I like it because it's very important film about time travels and it offers us an interesting theory how it could work. The whole story maybe a little naive but I anyway enjoyed it. My favourite moments is when Marty arrived in the past and compared it with his 80's.

I got this task and desided to watch a movie, that I've never seen before. Kinopoisk suggested "Seven Stages to Achieve Eternal Bliss By Passing Through the Gateway Chosen By the Holy Storsh" (Russian verson sounds like "Mysterious Suicides"). It. Was. A. HUGE. Mistake.
I mean I suspected that it will be a strange movie, 'cos there were Taika Waititi and Kate Micucci but... I' m not sure that any laguage can be used to discribe this, so it will be a pathetic attempt. The movie was... nice, I suppose, but sometimes it was too weird. Especially I don't like the end, but I don't think that the director wanted to tell an ordinary story with a conventional plot.

This is funny story about flatmates - two girls and two boys. Movie stories are comical. But especially I like artists, they's facial expressions. I have watched a nice film about the way to happiness - The pursuit of happyness.

It's a film about a man who started losing everything - his car, wife, rent flat and money, because he didn't have a normal job. But he continued to find a way to improve his life and life of his son. Once he decided to become a financial broker and change his life. It's not a full story because I think that you should see it by yourself.

I’m a fan of Sherlock Holmes written by Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle. I have watched Soviet serial with V. Livanov and V. Solomin (there was about 3-4 years old me, this serial was popular, my parents were watching this on the TV and I was watching some scenes without any meaning because I was so young, but I looked again at the age of 12). I have read a large number of investigations in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes on English, I still have one book to read and sometimes I return to it. I also have watched modern adaptative serial Sherlock with B. Cumberbatch few times (on Russia and English languages).

So if I had had a power, Sherlock Holmes would have existed. Sherlock Holmes is smart, talent detective and he knows everything in all life spheres (he is a genius!!!). He can deduct hard tasks without problem. He likes his job and he can be into investigation process days and nights.

Maybe he will feel lonely because not all person can do job, as Sherlock Holmes. Perhaps, he will have to adapt to new reality and modern life-style. However, as book and movies demonstrated, people like intelligent person, they want to relate with Sherlock Holmes.

This photo presents 11 years old me at the sea. At the beginning of summer my parents gave me a present – three train tickets to have the vacation on the sea in August. It was the first time for me to be on the sea! I was amazed and happy. So, I was over the moon. My dad taught me how to swim and to snorkel on the lake =D Therefore, I was completely ready.

When I look at this photo I remember warm air and warm nights outskirts. It was interesting adventure for me and opportunity to swim and even drive with scuba gear on the Black Sea.

Well, it's amazing experience to listen radio or book with different accents.
So I'm definetly fallen in love with British accent long time ago. It's hard but so delightful, like elite accent of Kings and Queens 👑

I have more of an American accent than a British one (I think, it's because I watch a lot of American series and movies), but I find the British accent so beautiful, but also so difficult.

I watched a new series lately - Moon Knight. There's a character with a split personality. One of them has a British accent, the other has an American one. The actor - Oscar Isaac - did a brilliant job with this switching personalities (and accents). I really like the both his accents, and I'd wanna learn how to do it someday

I opened a page with the country Nepal. Nepal has divine nature - high mountains and beautiful lakes. Here are the famous mountains of the Himalayas - Everest and Annapurna.

Randomizer gave me Amsterdam - the capital of the Netherlands. So, here's my made-up itinerary.

How go I get there? The main question is how do I get a visa to go there, so let's dream a little, and I'll get it just by magic(:

Where do I stay? Well, if we're still dreaming, I wanna take a beautiful, but unusual place. So I chose The Arcade Hotel Amsterdam. It's a video game hotel (What? Video games? Yes!), the rooms have game consoles with a really huge game library. They also have a game room with arcade machines! Also you can find comic book store there, take part in some events or just spend the whole weekend in a nice room. But we're in Amsterdam! We wanna see the city!

What do I do there? Here's the list of places (:
- Art and science: Rijksmuseum (to see Rembrandt's), Van Gogh Museum; Nemo Science Museum (I love interactive exhibits!); Cinema - Royal Theatre Tuschinski (Time Out says it's the most beautiful cinema in the world!)

- Architecture: Amsterdam Royal Palace and Palace Dam Square, Old Church and New Church, NDSM Art Cluster (I guess it's like Sevkabel in St.Petersburg)

- Nature: Vondelpark, Westerpark (there are rabbits!)

What do I eat there? Well, I've looked up for a few places: Bakers & Roasters for a local breakfast, Spaghetteria for a simple lunch, restaurant De Plantage for an exiquisite dinner and Brouwerij 't IJ with a beer or cocktail bar Tales & Spirits (of your choice) for a crazy night(:

My random country is
🌴Jamaica🌴 located in the Caribbean Sea. In my case there are two passengers, huge amount of money, dates to have vacation – 4 to 6 February 2023.

-transport to get it: You can fly to Montego Bay by using of Aviasales. So, two persons for two nights cost 200 thousand rubles as a flight for two sides.

-hotel to stay: I found wonderful hotel named Zoetry Montego Bay - All Inclusive (5 stars). This is first line situated not so close to the airport, coast is on your palm, blue lagoon and warm air, colorful double room with all inclusive, rest for body like yoga and spa services. It has the price for 2 nights as 41 058 rubles.

-places to go: You can challenge yourself with Rastasafari Experience on the jungle (164.59$ per adult), you can visit markets and taste local food (free as an activity, cost for souvenirs). Also, you can spend time on the sea with hot sunshine (free as an activity).

To sum up, you can spend 2 nights in Jamaica, you can swim in the Caribbean Sea and touch natura and culture of another island.
Price for that will be near of (regarding to today exchange rate) 251 thousand rubles or 4 117 dollars.

The American accent feels like a base because we hear it more often, so when I hear British accent I can recognize it. I like how the letter "t" sounds like "t" again, not "d" for example. But when one thing have a different names, like "flat" and "apartment", it's a little confusing X)

San Marino is my random city to explore. It isn't an easily accessible place for holiday but there are a lot of instresting sights and amazing views.

Let's say that you have a 9 day vacation, from 1st to 9th of April in 2023, and you will start you vacation from Saint Petersburg (or Moscow, they are pretty the same). At first, you need to buy plane tickets from Saint Petersburg to Rimini (from Rimini you will take a bus to San Marino) and book a hotel (I choose Grand Hotel San Marino). Then you should spend your days on walking around the city, visiting museums or sights. For example, there is such a beautiful mountain Titano with castles or, as it's a city in Italy, there are a lot of amazing cafes and restaurants here.

So we have a short plan for the days. You will spend:

1,5 day on the way to San Marino ~ 40k
0,5 day checkining at the hotel and relazing after long way ~ 50k (hotel booking for week)
1 day visiting museums
1 day walking on the Mount Titano
1 day visiting Serravalle, the biggest castel in San Marino
1 day visiting Montegiardino, a university town
1 day visiting museums and buying souvenirs
0,5 day checking out of the hotel
1,5 day on the way home ~ 40k

Totally you will spend about 120-150k rubles.

p.s. I added it to my "Need to visit" list, no matter how far it is

Oman? Muscat? O-Okay, randomizer...
I think it's the place I don't want to visit but the task is the task 😅 Anyway there is a really beautiful views.

First of all we need to go to Moscow because you can reach Muscat only from here, and there is no direct flights to Muscat, only with transfers. The price in one way around 30 000 rubles.

We can stay in the hotel Al Hail Waves Hotel Managed By Centara - nice photos of inside interior and you can see the sea from the windows. The price for one night around 3 000 rubles.

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is the first recommendation I can see on the different sites, it has the great view inside. But girls should wear a thing that covers all your body and face (also you need socks because you should take off your shoes), they're very strict about it. Entrance to the mosque and its individual halls is completely free.

Interesting place to visit - Bait Al Zubair, one of the most important historical museums of Oman. Entrance ticket costs around 3 000 rubles.

You can visit Muttrah Souk for shopping - it's a big bazaar, one of the oldest. Be careful with your money...

And for sure, Qurum Beach, where you can enjoy the sea and swim (maybe you should pay around 1000 rubles for a beach chair).

So you need at least 70 000 rubles to visit Muscat (but I'm sure the final price will be higher).

Istanbul

Since I will go to Istanbul, Turkey for the New Year, I will tell you a little about Istanbul.

Galata port. A new place that opened in 2022. Beautiful embankment along the Bosford Bay with many delicious cafes and shops.

Balat is a district with colored houses. On the way, you can see the Golden Horn Bay.

Princess Islands are a trip for the whole day. You can see Trotsky’s house or go hiking.

Hagia Sophia Mosque & The Blue Mosque. Historical attractions, I would advise you to take a walk along and then have lunch or dinner with a view of one of the mosque.

The Galata Tower is the most species attraction in the Cetra of Istanbul. I would not rise, but I would advise a walk in tourist streets.

Grand Bazaar - for lovers to plunge into Istanbul life and bargain well.

Turkish breakfast. Once you have to try.

In general, there is something to see!

The Gorynych restaurant

Recently I was at the Gorynych restaurant. You have to book a place there in advance, about for a week, to get there.

It's a really amazingly beautiful place, with decor which reminds you our fairy tale, but with contemporary elements and music. In a word, aesthetic pleasure!

We have tasted there one unusual alcohol cocktail - Gorynych. It's a small performance you should see and small yourself.

A waiter places the cocktail under big glass cap and sets fire to the chips. And here it is, your smoked cocktail.

I must say it's very unusual taste when you drink sweet, but smoked cocktail.

My random country is Armenia. This is a beautiful country and I plan to visit it in the future. There are direct flights to Yerevan from Moscow and St. Petersburg. I prefer to stay in private apartments. I don't like hotels. Armenia has amazing nature and beautiful mountains. I would spend most of my trip hiking in the mountains. And be sure to visit several restaurants with national cuisine.

Thank you all for English practice

It's my first challenge and moreover language challenge. I am proud that I was a part of this action from the beginning and till the end. So I can say, that daily-tasks were interesting, puzzled in good way. Tasks helped to train listening, speaking and mostly writting. It identified the most weak points of everybody in learning English.

I'm not a selfish person, however I come back to first week and can be sure that every tasks I did successful, because I did it with all responsibilities and enthusiasm as it possible. As I like to study, I do every educational excersise with passion =)

I realized that I should spend more time with correct letters in all difficult words. So I'm gonna include this point in my every-day English training.

The most enjoyable tasks are writting about person who doesn't exist (day 8), about accent (day 11), about tongue twister (day 6). I can't name the terrible task, they all was cool. I can tell that I found interesting of reading about employees of Novardis that I have not known before. Maybe we became closer in some language sense.

I want to say thanks word for this challenge to Admin)) hope we didn't make a huge number of grammar mistakes.

It's difficult to make resolutions for a year but I want to try too! Also I think I need to save that list and watch on it in the next New Year ✨
Soooo my little goals:

Learn more! I need more knowledges in my area of work and in languages (English and Japanese)
Continue physical trainings and make my shape even better
Go outside more often and explore new places in a city, try new things
Do not drop things on the halfway. The first step is to complete this English challenge! 💪

Wait, three weeks is already over? Time goes so fast...
I want to say thanks to Admin for organization and my colleagues for participation. You're all awesome! ✨I had so much fun~

Speaking about results, I feel I can use English more freely. I know I still do many mistakes but I hope I can decrease amount of them 😅I liked all tasks very much, it was very interesting to read my colleagues's answers and to write my own, so tasks with different facts was my favourite. The hardest task was about accents, don't know why... The task about watching the movie on English was also hard, because I tried to do that in the past, but I never could finish it usually. But in this time I realized that the hardest thing was to start!

So I hope everyone opened something new for yourself in this challenge and became stronger! Step by step to English fluency! 💪

Canadian accent

I choose Canadian accent, because I know one Canadian guy, I remember Terrance and Phillip in "South park")) This accent is a mixture of American and British English, but Canadian is still closer in pronunciation to American with some influence from French.

The most famous feature of the Canadian accent is the pronunciation of word like "about" [ə'baʊt], a Canadian would say "aboot". The sound [ð] can be pronounced as [d] (“this” becomes “diz”), the sound [ʌɪ] is replaced by [i:] (“wife” becomes “wif”).

Morocco

I got Morocco. From St. Petersburg to Rabat (the capital of Morocco) you can get with transfers in Istanbul and London in 20 hours and it cost about 60 000 rubles one way. It is recommended to include the imperial cities of Fes, Marrakech and Meknes in the excursion route in order to explore the local architecture and sights. Also recommended to visit the beaches with white sand, hammam and to taste the local cuisine.

This English challenge was out of ordinary.There were infatuating tasks,precisely,I’d like to emphasise the one that presumed me mentioning bullet points “random me”.I’m inclined to believe it’s a stunning opportunity to get to know better people you work with shoulder to shoulder.It’s of utmost importance for me,as I joined the Novardis team this summer in course of online work.

Regarding space for improvement,I think it would be beneficial if the moderators had provided participants’ posts with short comments (explicit grammar mistakes,lack of coherence and ect.)

I’m grateful for such challenge that tremendously expedited my English expertise.👩🏻‍🎓
