My class always enjoy kiwican that they can't contain their excitement which does become too loud for poor Simoe and Bex and their classes. Kim did try to manage the noise a lot but we shouldn't really be holding back the students from being excited. I don't think this will work for the rest of the term with our open space learning. Jeff and I are finding it difficult teaching Kiwi Can but we re trying our best.
We have noticed that some students lose focus during Kiwi Can maybe because they are in their own space that they are comfortable in. So they sit on the tables and chairs, hang out windows or even go under the tables.
It would be nice if all teachers remember to make some space for Kiwi Can please. Looking forward to next weeks session with you. The children always look forward to Kiwi can and they really enjoyed Wednesday's session. We didn't hear any noise from Room 1 and 1a but I am concern about Room 3. I agree with Gillian if Room 3 have kiwi can then Room 2 can have that time in the library and when it is Room 2's turn then Room 3 can use the library. Well done Kiwi can.
