Yes, it was this one task that my classmate said to me before. We needed to write down and take notes in our MAPEH subject. So what i did is basically took note of everything or wrote down every single word in the MAPEH book from Music subject to Health. It turns out it wasn't really needed. What the teacher said was, take not of it in our minds and review it not take note of it as in writing everything down since it was one of the thing that we were gonna do anyways. I ended up just highlighting every word i wrote. (Zindy)

Yes, Definitely. I can recall a lot of times were i got deceived of doing a task that was urgent but that wasnt important to me. Such as interruptions asking me to help with a certain thing at home even if they know im already busy :,)

There was a time too where i accidentally answered the wrong task which was the MCH (Accidentally answering EG 7 rather than EG 6 if i recall 😭)

Honestly, I have no real answer to this question. I am only able to do a task when I see reason for it, thus even though a task may not be truly important, I cannot say that I've ever been "deceived" by its importance, because to me, as long as there's meaning in what I do, that's all that matters.

I have experienced confusion and being misled by a task that seemed important but wasn't. One memorable instance was when our teacher in MAPEH assigned us to create a brochure. My groupmates and I worked hard and printed the brochure because Miss Kate informed us that we would present it to the class and to other grade levels. Unfortunately, due to the IPBA and OA events, we never got the chance to present our brochure, resulting in a lot of wasted printed materials 🥺

I was always under the impression that I have to complete all of my task to prove my mother I way doing it and even after she stop all of the check I always do them and finish them because I thought my mother would check on it, but after the next quarter I only do one to two task because they don't seem important and the fact that my mother does not check most of the time I could safe to say I could feel real nice to relax and just do what I do best.

I have:< There was a night when I was cramming an activity given. I thought it was due the next day. But then the next day at school when I had a chitchat with a friend, I told her my frustrations about it, and she told me it was actually due the next following week. T^T It took me a few minutes to realize it was fine anyway at least I was able to do it a week earlier.

Personally, yes. There would be instances where I'd partake and input arduous work into certain activities-- however, it would be cancelled or forgotten by the LF. All things considered, I find things relevant to do despite the degree of significance, as long as I know it's beneficial.

Yes, I have had the experience of being confused by a task that wasn't actually necessary to do. I can vividly recall the day we were asked to make a presentation on a specific topic, only to discover at the end of the day that we had not been instructed to present in front of the class. I was quite saddened due to the wasted efforts.

Yes. Sometimes I'm doing everything what I want without a reason. Last Q1 I'm getting confused why I'm studying music and arts (from mapeh) even tho I don't wanna be a musician and I'm suck at arts. And I think these subject are useless to me.

As a musician, my current workflow for music is currently just "play with the instrument until it sounded good". My release schedule is monthly, so I have to release new songs each month on my channel. It usually works pretty well - I've released 3 songs in the span of 3 months, from June to August.

In late September, I was working on a project that's supposed to be my debut release for the record label I just got signed to. This song is supposed to be released that month. I was in a call with a fan of mine and I was showcasing her the project, until one of my friends wrote a song and sent it to me through DM's. She's a vocalist, so naturally, she looked through the song and IMMEDIATELY had a song idea.

We went on to form a J-Pop group - where I was the producer, my friend Joash from 10-3 (with his stage name as "SHIZA") as the writer, and that vocalist I was talking in the previous paragraph, who's going to sing over the production that I did. We called it "TRITONE", as we're of course, a 3 member band - and it fits the J-Pop vibe that I'm going for. We spent the majority of October working on the song - and I thought it's going well at first; we got a mixing engineer, an artist who would design the album cover, and the entirety of the indie music community supporting the work.

It's until we realized that we simply can't do this just yet. Our vocalist was going through personal issues, and she unfortunately could not contribute to the project anymore. She was a backbone of our group - she is our vocalist, after all. And so, the project was cancelled, to many peoples' dismay. We could not find a replacement vocalist that's going to take place of her, and using Vocaloid simply won't fir the production that's supposed to be for human-made vocals.

I've spent the entirety of October, just for nothing, essentially. We've had 19 demos in total, before the project was finally scrapped. So, here's the demo for you to listen in all of its' glory!

Sometimes, we waste time on things that seem important but don’t actually help. They might feel urgent, but they’re just distractions. Easy to think that they’re relevant and they matter, but they don’t really bring us closer to what we want to do.
