1. Skim the text reminding yourself of the 4 Silver Lines you identified and why
2. Each person in your group then chooses 1 line that you want to share with the group.
3. Each person has one minute to share his or her line, by directing the group to the text, reading the chosen line and explaining why it is significant
4. As each person reads and responds all members quietly listen
5. Each person then returns to the text in light of their Silver Lines and what they have heard from their colleagues. Now they are to choose One Golden Line that they feel will be most significant for their teachers.
5. Each person has one minute to share his or her line, by directing the group to the text, reading the chosen line and explaining why it is significant
6. As each person reads and responds all members quietly listen
7. Once everyone has shared a whole group discussion then considers what the insights from the text will mean for teachers and students they support.
