There are countless operations that use animals as tools for entertainment with the animal's health and well being as expendable. Thankfully, only two years ago, young LA students took the lead and made a house, or at least a mini-version. The goal of the project was to help those without a home experience what it's like to live in one. The "leader" of the project, Elvis Summers, had some experience with this kind of situation, as not to long prior to the project, he helped make a home for a 60-year-old woman who was homeless. These kind actions inspired schools to ask for Summers' help in building more one-room houses, helping those who were homeless in that area. This trash is put into the ocean both unintentionally and intentionally by humans, obviously, and have already killed many fish species. The fish can easily mistake these pieces of trash for food for them to eat, and many fishes have been found with numerous pieces of plastic in them. The worse thing about this situation is that this is not only affecting fish, but their predators. When those predators eat enough plastic-filled fish, the effect worsens the farther up the food chain we go up.
