I believe this comes from administration to set the tone with organization- things are rushed or not sent out. Because we have to plan so much in advance to accommodate VAPA and grade level instructional rotations, there is little room for last minute changes. If a child has daily behavior issues we need to draw a hard line. I have tried utilizing multiple resources (psychologist, etc.) but much of my time is spent dealing with a "repeat offender." I feel I have addressed the issues but have limited consequences I am able to hand out. Time and behavior seem to be a theme  on this board.  I know as a staff we are spending too much time taking care of behavior issues.
