It feels like the night is still young, and there’s a hint of longing and romance. I am a fan of Van Gogh’s art for many reasons, and I love his use of bright color and thick texture. This painting matters to me because of Van Gogh’s love of creating, with little caution to the preferred master techniques of the time.
