This religion has local appeal; the community is smaller and very closed off and secretive. It does not seem to be known in other locations. Canyons and valleys are important in this religion because it allows for the sound to echo, and people believe being close to mountains makes you closer to the gods as well as makes your prayers more important. The majority of the island is a coniferous forest and has quite a few mountains around the southeastern border (forest biome). Temples are built nearby and on mountains, so they hold cultural and religious significance. The temples are made from stone and rocky material, but never from mountains they rest on. Harming the land, alive or not, is strictly prohibited.

In the lower social classes the citizens will raise their own food and make their own goods, only buying goods when necessary, but in higher classes, the currency and goods are distributed in a way that leans more towards a mixed economy, where there are public and private enterprise. Tectonic plates in Africa shifted and a smaller bit of land drifted and broke off. The people of african descent carried their practices to this new land, and over time it created a new culture and religion.
Altolia is located south of Africa, since it broke off from Namibia and South Africa. The practices, religion , and culture are all closed off and not spread past altolia. They are isolated because they live on an island, and the people believe their culture and religion are true.
Since the people of Altolia have access to the internet and social media, etc, they have been exposed to other religions, such as satanism. They have grown bitter towards this group, since satanists do not believe in their hierarchy, and in Soulisms mythology, the entity satan is depicted in an entirely different way. The people feel as if the religion mocks satan and the spirits they honor. Satanism is mainly practiced in Northern America, so people have grown resentment towards Americans.
