- "Edutainment" isn't a bad thing - could be your hook or way to refocus, but minimize time allotted to it if meaning is minimal
- Encourage students to use these tools among themselves or for their assignments 
- Be sure to train yourself and experiment so you know exactly how the tool works and its limitations  -BEFORE CLASS!
- Allow training time for the students too. Low stakes/no stakes learning to use the apps
- In your syllabus, indicate to students what apps they should download to fully participate in the course
