I wonder if Nora knew that Vee was lying to her about Rixon trying to kill her. When confronted, Vee lied to Nora, saying that she didn't know what happened. In someway, Vee's memory was also erased, but her mental block wasn't as bad as Nora's. Also, Vee knew that Nora had a boyfriend whose name was Patch, and Vee knew what he looked like. In this book, Patch now goes be Jev. Nora tells Vee that she met some guy. When Nora told Vee what the guy looked like, Vee freaked out and said they needed to go to the police about him. I think that Vee got her memory back and she was trying to protect Nora.

I rated this book an 8 out of 10. I gave this book this rate because although this is one of my favorite books of all time, I feel like it dragged a bit. The majority of the book is Nora trying to figure out who kidnapped her and stole her memories. I understand that Fitzpatrick is trying to create suspense and mystery, but I was just very bored. I feel like other details could have been placed in the spot of these details

Minor Character, Big Role

Marcie Miller is considered to be a minor character with a big role. We don't really know much about Marcie other than the fact she is rude and snobby. Hank Miller, Marcie's father divorces Marcie's mother and starts dating Nora's mom. Marcie is just put in the book to destroy Nora's life. Marcie doesn't do much, except beg Nora to find a necklace that Patch gave her when they were dating that "belongs" to Marcie. However, even though Marcie doesn't do much, she plays a big role. Marcie helps reveal the big idea that she is a Nephlim and so is her father( By now, if you read the first book you would know this). Marcie lays the foundation work for the overall downspiral of each character is this novel
