Your body copes with stress first by using your bodies resources. It signals your glands to start produces adrenaline and cortisol. This can cause symptoms such as headaches, fevers, and fatigue. On the outside everything seems normal, but this has a negative impact because your body's response to other stressors. If the stressor isn't resolved, you being to feel all the negative side effects which will lead to Stage 3: exhaustion.</div>]]></description>

We have automatic nervous arousal, this can be triggered by a pleasant or unpleasant stressor. Prolonged stress can lead to illness and negative symptoms. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Imagine that you have to give a big presentation to the class that is a massive part of your grade. You've been given a long duration of time to work on it and you don't want to let your team down. The presentation is a few days away and you can't stop thinking about it, here is how the stress is affecting you.&nbsp;<br>Stage 1: You recognize that the presentation is stressing you out, your automatic nervous system is aroused, and your body is signaling stress hormones.&nbsp;<br>Stage 2: Your body will either begin to resolve the stressor and maintain homeostasis and you'll look okay on the surface level. If you continue to resist against the stress you will continue to the next stage.<br>Stage 3: Your body is drained, and your immune system begins to weaken. You are physically and mentally exhausted. Your behavior is changing as well, you are becoming more irritable and anxious.&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
