Lizard Point is an awesome resource utilized by my economics professor to help her students learn the countries of the world! This way, we know exactly where the countries and their subsequent territories are when we have discussions about international events relating to the course material. There are so many options and ways to personalize your study experience on this website. Check it out!

GradeScope is used by my professor and her TA to grade lengthier assignments and leave feedback right inside the assignment, organized by each question or problem. The user interface is extremely straightforward and easy to navigate, which is my favorite part about this platform! I can communicate with the TA about any discrepancies and request a re-grade, if necessary.

My Economics Lab is used as the course home page, and includes all course resources - the syllabus, PowerPoints, homework assignments, data sets, e-text pages, grades, etc. - that allow students to be successful in the course. Inside the homework assignments, you can contact your professor directly, or turn straight to the e-text pages that will help you solve the problem at hand. You can also learn through dynamic study modules included with each chapter. There are a lot of little perks to using this website!

PowerPoint it the basic vessel that my professor uses to deliver her lectures. Often the slides are lengthy, include a lot of information, and can be over 100 slides per chapter. Even though there is a multitude of information that can be helpful with studying, it would be more beneficial for students' initial comprehension to condense the material and make lectures more interesting! I suggest Prezi as a communication resource instead of PowerPoint (see following post!).

Prezi is my go-to when creating interactive, visually enticing presentations. Prezi allows the user to create extremely organized presentations, with all the different levels to it, and engages the reader with colorful templates and themes. Because of its design set-up, it typically encourages the user to condense the amount of words present to only include necessary, important information on each slide. This is my recommendation to my professor to replace the traditional, bland, lengthy PowerPoints.

Although not explicitly required by this economics class, I found Quizlet to be an extremely helpful resource. I can create folders and sets under my account for each chapter. I input the important conceptual information into the study set and use the different "Learn," "Flashcards," and "Test" modes to study the material before exams. I can also share sets and access my classmates' sets to make sure I have a comprehensive understanding of the material. This platform is one of my favorite study methods!

I recommend Google Sites to my economics professor to act as a "home base" for her course. Since she does use many different websites and platforms to assign work and grade our finished products, Google Sites would be a simple and helpful way to organize the course material and include links to all the subsequent websites, e-text, presentations, and assignments. Here, I've included a link to the tutorial on how to use Google Sites that helped me get started when I made my first Google Site. It really is a simple and convenient way to keep track of everything.

Here, I've attached a link to a resource created by Prezi to help educators utilize the platform to its full potential! This is a perfect way to connect with other teachers and view the presentations that they have created on different subject material. The online world allows teachers from all over to be connected through platforms like this, and encourages collaboration and communication on educational curriculum. Prezi includes many great resources for students and teachers alike!
