Both present the applicant's qualifications to potential employers.</p><p>Differences:</p><p>1. Resumes focus on listing skills, education, and work experience, while cover letters provide a personal introduction and explanation of why the applicant is a good fit for the job.</p><p>2. Resumes are more factual and objective, whereas cover letters are more subjective and personal.</p>]]></description>

A resume uses bullet points to give of summary of your skills. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>2 differences-  content focus is different because in a resume provides a detailed overview of your professional history and a cover letter is more personalized and narrative-driven. another difference is the length and format typically in a resume one or two pages with clear sections for different types of information  and a cover letter usually a one page doc in paragraph form. </p><p><br/></p><p>2 similarities- both of them aim to secure you an interview by showcasing your qualifications, and experience. and both of them should be tailored to the specific job and compony you are applying to, and highlight the most relevant experiences and skills for that role.         </p>]]></description>
