At this moment of crisis in our world, I am more grateful than ever for our nature journaling community, and for the gift of nature itself. 

 

We are going to get through this. Even though the virus is forcing us further apart, I invite you to hold us together in your mind and heart. Look for ways in these strange times to be generous and helpful to others. We all are taking care of our families. Can we look in our hearts for any way to expand our definition of who is included in our family? 

 

In this challenging situation, there are still things for which we can be grateful. I invite you to look for those things and share them with someone you love, in person or by phone. Practicing and sharing gratitude is so important, especially right now.

 

Being out in nature restores and heals us, and it is something we still can do while respecting community safety guidelines. 

 

Grant yourself 30 minutes in nature today and if you need to go back in at the end of that time, it is okay. But see if you can leave the door open to stay out longer...especially if you are feeling nature's peace.
