The court should rule in our favor because the companies are directly at fault for the victims’ cancer by dumping these harmful toxins into the water. Losing this case would dismiss the negligence of W.R. Grace and Beatrice Foods and disregard the long-term damages done to victims in the form of illness. This also would set a precedent that other corporations can get away with this type of action without any repercussions.
