As the path od the bridge was cleared we noticed the next box covered with tiny seashells and amber.

Our teacher smiled and said,
“Are you ready for the next challenge?”

We carefully opened the box. Inside, there were small, shiny stones in different colors—blue, green, and white. Next to them, there was a small cloth in shades of blue and white, with patterns that looked like waves.

“Look!” one of us said. “It looks like the sea!”

Our teacher nodded.
“These colors and patterns are inspired by cities near the Baltic Sea, like Szczecin and Gdańsk. People there have a strong connection to the sea. You can see ships, ports, and hear seagulls, just like here. The sea is an important part of their culture and daily life.”

We looked closer. Under the cloth, there was also a small basket.

Inside the basket, we found tiny pieces of food.
“They look like little dumplings!” someone said.

“Yes,” our teacher smiled. “They are called pierogi, a traditional Polish food. People in Poland love to eat them with different fillings like cheese, potatoes, or fruit.”

We were excited to learn something new!

Then we noticed a note in the box. We opened it and read together:

“To cross the bridge, you must think carefully and work as a team.”

We looked inside the box again. There were:

5 blue stones
3 green stones
2 white stones

Suddenly, a strong wind blew across the bridge, and 4 stones flew out of the box and disappeared into the sea!

We were surprised, but our teacher said,
“Don’t worry. Let’s solve the problem step by step.”

First, we counted all the stones:
5 + 3 + 2 = 10 stones

Then we thought about the wind:
10 - 4 = 6 stones left

As soon as we found the answer, the box began to glow. The bridge lit up in front of us, showing the way forward.

A new message appeared in the sky:

“Only those who solve the next problem may cross the bridge.”
