Ms Torrance and her rabbits.

Mr and Ms.Torrance had just got married. They lived in a big old house in a small town called Reine, which is located in the countryside of Norway. They carried along very well, until Mr Norman Torrance realizes that Ms Candace Torrance had an obsession with rabbits. It's not the problem that she has fifteen of these animals living in their house, but the fact that she never takes care of them. Their house was an absolute mess, it was very smelly, there was mold coming out of the wooden floor because the rabbits peed on it, there was rabbit poop everywhere, the rabbits slept with them on their bed, there were very sick rabbits, and Candace didn't do anything about it. At first Norman accepted it a little bit, he thought that she was too busy to properly take care of the bunnies and the house but as time passed he noticed she was just too lazy to do so, he told Candace many times to clean up the house but she just ignored him.

Norman started to lose his patience, he was getting really annoyed by these bad habits, and he couldn't take it anymore. Him and Ms Torrance argued many times about this issue but she thought that he was with her about her personality and not about her lack of care for the bunnies. So, she got upset too. She even started to think that Norman didn't love her anymore. Candace didn't realize that her laziness was the main problem.

She started to believe things that weren't true, she believed that he stared at her with some resentment, thought that he was having an affair, because he often left the house for hours and didn't come back until midnight. The truth was that he didn't like to spend too much time inside the house because it was so dirty that he didn’t feel comfortable in it, it smelled disgusting, all of the furniture was messed up, and he knew it was the rabbits’ fault, or at least the majority of it.

Candace was getting tired of her husband’s attitude, she felt angry about it, she didn’t feel loved by him anymore, her only friends and company were the rabbits. As time passed, her anger was getting bigger and her patience was getting thinner. She felt that her problems kept growing more and more, so she decided to face them, but in the worst way possible, she wanted to end it all and the only way to do so was to kill her husband.

Everything was at her favour, the chances of her plan failing were of a 0,01%. Her plan was almost perfect but she needed some help to make it complete, and who else more than her little furry friends could help with this task?

She knew how to attack him and what to use, at what time of the day, in which room of the house she would do it, what she would do after with the corpse, etc. Everything was meticulously planned, she was completely sure that nothing could go wrong with it.

The day finally came, it was a quarter to 10 p.m, Norman Torrance got out of his car and walked towards the house, he unlocked the front door and went to the bathroom to take a shower after a long day but he didn’t know what was waiting for him, behind the bathroom’s door Candace was waiting for him with a butcher’s knife in her hand, he took two steps into the room and before he could even think Ms.Torrance run madly towards him and stabbed him in the back, he fell to the hard and cold tile floor. To make sure that he was completely dead, she proceeded to stab him 8 more times, he was definitely dead. She felt pleased with what she did, now she had to execute the other half of her plan.

After that, she dismembered him, now it was time to get help from her little rabbits. She cooked her dead husband and gave it to the bunnies as food. The animals were very satisfied about this meal, they really liked it.

When she saw this, she thought: "what if other rabbits like this meal as much as hers."

In her madness, she even thought: "what if everyone fed their rabbits with human meat, they seem to like it."

Suddenly, she had an idea: "I could make that happen. I could make everyone feed their rabbits with this” she said to herself.

So, she set her own rabbit's food shop, in which she sold colored human meat . She put some food colorant on it, so no one would realize that it was real human meat. She sold it in big and small cans.

More and more people started to buy food from her shop, since the town where she lived was very small, her idea was a success. In fact people from other towns came to Reine just to get a can of rabbit food from Ms.Torrance.

Eventually, she began to make a lot of money and decided to leave town in company of her rabbits to spend her last years and enjoy her life. No one went on with her business and the truth was never discovered.

She killed her husband, earned a lot of money and lived with her rabbits, just as she wanted her life to be.

Catalina Vega
Victoria Monsalve
Anahí Ardiles

                                              THE UNFORGIVABLE
By Patricia López and Fabián Saldes

Mr and Mrs O'malley were truly happy with his son George, they lived in Austin in a beautiful neighbourhood, they were a happy family but everything changed when Mr O'malley brought a rabbit to the house. He fell in love when he saw it for the first time so he decided to make it his pet. He named it Snowball. Mr. O'malley felt like a kid at Christmas Day, he kept and kept spending time with Snowball, doing all sorts of activities and games with him. Mr. O'malley simply couldn't be apart from his new friend, his life changed entirely.

The problem was that he began to drift away from his family. As he started to focus more on Snowball, he started to forget about his wife Mrs. O'malley, who did not really care about having a pet at home at first. However, she eventually felt lonely, for her husband did not have eyes for her anymore, she felt like she was casted aside, forgotten and taken away from Mr. O'malley's love. He didn't pay attention to his wife anymore, and because of this, a sentiment of gloom started to grow up inside her, as she came to dislike Snowball, thinking that he took her place in her husband's heart. This led to common discussions in the family about the same subject: Snowball.

Mrs. O'malley felt like she needed a gateway from the heartbreaking woefulness that she was living in, so she became vulnerable, that is until she felt safe again in the arms of another man she knew days later in a bar. While she was trying to focus her mind in something else a man approached her. That night, she knew a man that gave her the attention she wanted; a man that treated her the way she deserved; a man that gave her the love she desired...

No one in Austin knew about Mrs. O'malley's affair, she kept it well hidden, that is until she made an awful mistake: one day, Mrs. O’malley brought his lover home, thinking that they would be totally alone, however, she didn’t mind George, who came home early from school, and saw his mother with a man who was not his father. He headed towards his room silently, he didn’t dare to say a single word, nor he alerted her mother of what she was doing, but the image he saw remained engraved in his mind.

Weeks passed and the O’malleys were getting used to their new life: the Mr. loved spending time with Snowball, the Mrs. didn’t need her husband’s love anymore (even though she played the wife’s role quite well) and George was doing quite well at school. Everything went by so normally as the three members adapted to the fluffy animal being added to the family. One day, however, while doing house chores, Mrs. O’malley rushed to open a door, without knowing that Snowball was lying under it. It was too late by the time she realised that she had stomped his head, ending with his life. Mrs. O’malley panicked, how was she going to tell her husband that she killed his dearest companion? That he will not see nor play with him anymore? She thought and thought about what she could do but no idea came to her mind. She felt helpless, as tears started to appear on her eyes, she heard the kettle’s whistle from the kitchen, that’s when she had an idea…

She would cook Snowball so that her husband couldn’t find it! “I’m such a genius!” She said to herself. She knew that her husband would start to feel worried when the days would pass and Snowball were nowhere to be found, –“I’ll come up with something then, right now, I have a meal to prepare.” She said, as she proudly walked to the kitchen to execute her plan.

As she began getting rid of all evidence, she felt relief throughout all her body. She thought she was finally getting her husband back by using Snowball’s remains to prepare a delicious dish for dinner. –“He will never notice…”.

When dinner was ready, Mrs. O’malley called her husband and son for them to sit at the table, the first to arrive was George, he was starving so he started to eat immediately. George thought that dinner was delicious, the tastiest dinner that he has ever had, maybe it was because of how hungry he was. Right after, Mr. O’malley arrived and he was wondering about his loved companion.

–“Snowball? Snowball? Where are you?”

There was no answer.

–“Snowball?! Darling, have you seen Snowball? Usually when I call him he immediately runs at me.”

– “No, honey, I haven’t seen him all day.”

– “Hmm… that is very, very strange…”

– “Honey, let’s sit to have dinner, then you can look for him”

The couple was about to have dinner, but they stopped when they saw George fainting, his head with burning fever, his body collapsing to the ground, causing time to stop for both Mr. and Mrs. They immediately called an ambulance, as the family rushed to the hospital to identify what was wrong with poor George.

Once in the hospital, the doctor in charge of George’s case told the parents that their child’s condition came from a virus of animal origin, specifically one that is commonly found in some rabbit species. After listening to that, everything made sense to Mr. O’malley…

–”You… you killed and cooked my rabbit!!! You made me eat my Snowball!!! How in the love of God could you possibly do that? Where’s your heart!? Don’t you realise what you have just done? Our son is dying because of you!”

Mrs. O’malley felt defenseless, she didn’t expect to receive such heated retaliation from her husband. Of course she didn’t want to hurt her son, she just wanted to regain her husband’s love. She tried to say something that could mend what she did but it led to nothing else than anger and hatred.

As the hours passed, George started to feel worse, his fever was rising and his face was turning yellowish. When his mother wasn’t in the room, he took the chance to have a word with his father.

–”Dad, I must speak to you.”

Mr. O’malley, completely surprised, just walked towards his son, sitting right next to him. –”What is it, Georgie?”

And then he heard it, the truth coming from his son’s mouth, then he knew about a hidden story that would top all the stories.

He knew about his wife’s affair.

After the truth was unfolded to him, he felt anger consuming him entirely, his heart was filled with nothing but pure hatred. He was betrayed, his wife lied straight to the face. He left his son’s room, not knowing what to do, there were only questions remaining inside his mind. –”How long has she been cheating on me? Who is that man?”, and most important: –”Why did she do that to me? To us? To our family?”

He rushed towards his wife as he just let the words come out from his mouth, he didn’t really mind what he was saying but he knew what decision he had to make.

They talked for hours and hours but the result was a very simple one: he didn’t want to see her face for the rest of his life.

By the time they were ending their discussion, the doctor rushed to alert them that their son was undergoing through a lot of pain and that he wanted to have a word with his mother. Mrs. O’malley hastily walked to George’s room, she opened the door and approached her child, she sat as she was getting ready for what the boy had to tell her.

–”Mom, I know everything you’ve done. Snowball… that man…”

With these words, Mrs. O’malley knew that it was George who had told her husband that she had another man. As tears started to fall down her cheeks, it became really noticeable that her heart was going through inconmensurable pain and regret.

–”But don’t worry, mom, I will not judge you. All I want is for you to be honest with yourself and Dad. I don’t want you to lie, even if it will make you look very bad, the truth is the only way to redeem yourself”.

By the time he was saying this, his heart stopped beating and his pulse disappeared, Mrs. O’malley’s heart was shattered and the only thing that she could say was that she was forever sorry.

The doctors came in to control the situation and comfort Mrs. O’malley, but she didn’t listen to any word, her mind was in a very distant place, with the words of her son resonating. She couldn’t think clearly, but she had already made a decision.

She walked out of the room and left the hospital. She was heading home, ignoring all her surroundings and everything she came across. As she got nearer, she kept thinking about the words that George told her, those words would become stronger and stronger until she realised that she was already home. Once there, she began eating all that was left of the stew that was made with Snowball’s remains. In no time, her body started to fall into a slumber. Mrs. O’malley then whispered: “I will not leave you alone, Georgie”, as she hit the ground.

                                                The End?

Made by: Christian Vicencio and Cristofer Ramirez

Marthis didn’t had a good life in the Kingdom of Baldur, in fact one could say his life was the worst life someone could ever live, he was poor, he didn’t have any family who could take care of him, he was raised alone with the help of some nuns, but that at the age of 13 they left him in the streets cause of how much trouble he was causing at the Church, there were some days that Marthis couldn’t eat anything because he couldn’t afford even for a piece of bread, he lived his life like that until he turned 15, here is where the life of Marthis turned to the worse, and where the Darkness inside his heart grew bigger and bigger.

In the 17th of June, in the streets of Baldur, while he was searching for something to eat, a carriage got near the entrance of the alley where he was searching for food, some men got off the carriage and they captured Marthis and other children abandoned by their parents, tossing them inside of a big cage behind the Carriage, after they got around 50 children they hid the cage and transported them into an unknown place, Marthis, with fear, tried to call for help, screaming and crying for anybody to come to their rescue, but nobody came.

They arrived into an unknown place, cold with a horrible smell, Marthis at this point was scared to the bones, and after some time the cages got revealed and their jailers got inside the cages and started grabbing some kids from it, included Marthis, and they dragged them into a place where they tortured the prisoners, Marthis knew what was coming for him, and since then, for months he had to go through tons of horrible experiences, being tortured, used for fun like a toy, it went on and on till his heart couldn’t take it any longer, and with some knowledge with dark magic, in secret from his jailers, he made a summoning ritual, and started to call for the Dark forces of hell, and the Devil itself appeared before him.

At first Marthis was shocked in horror, but his anger and rage took over him, and asked the Devil for help, the Lord of Hell wasn’t that interested in the boy, and asked what would the boy give in return for power, and Marthis promised him that if he granted his wish, he would bring the souls of thousands of people, he wanted to kill everyone who denied him and used him for their own desires, the Devil, interested in the boy, decided to accept the boy’s wish, and with a swing of his fingers, the Devil killed the boy, to resurrect him as a Necromancer, in charge of the Life and Deaths of the people.

With this new power, Marthis disappeared for some time from civilization, preparing himself, planning his revenge against Humanity, and after some years of training and preparations, he managed to reunite an Army of Undead people, and with that the day of the attack was getting near and near until the Kingdom of Baldur would fall.

Some days before the attack, Marthis was walking near the forest of Baldur, at the south of it, searching for every possible breach that the Kingdom would have, until by mere luck he managed to feel the presence of someone behind his back, dodging and incoming attack from behind, with a quick step he recovered himself and when he looked forward, he noticed a young man, with a long blond hair, with a shinnying armor in which you could see your own reflection, and a big Hammer in his right hand, pulling it from the ground, and preparing for his next attack against the Necromancer.

Marthis asked who was the person that was in front of him, preparing to attack Marthis again, and the blond guy responded that he was Aldur, one of the Paladins from the Circle of Light, in charge of bringing Justice for those who would dare to break the rules of the Kingdom, and who was also in charge to stop Marthis from his killing spree, the Necromancer, annoyed from the Paladin’s presence, and even more from knowing that the Kingdom sent the Paladin to kill him, gave Aldur one only chance to back off and go away from him so he could keep his life, in which Aldur denied, marking his words that his job was to bring justice to people, and for what the Necromancer was doing he couldn’t allow to go any further, so with that, all intentions shown, the death battle began.

Marthis, as quick as he could, launched many attacks using his Dark magic against the Paladin, but Aldur didn’t even flinched from them, and with a swift from his Hammer he stricked the ground, destroying a big part of it and making Marthis fall into a pit, Marthis, recovering from the attack of the Paladin, created some members of his Undead army, ordering them to attack the Paladin, Aldur at first was confident enough that he could destroy the Undead soldiers of the Necromancer, but he quickly found himself overwhelmed by the big amount of Undead soldiers who surrounded him, Marthis at first thought that he already won the battle, but from one moment to another a quick blast destroyed all of his soldiers, and also impacting him in the shoulders, making him fall to the ground.

Marthis, with some strength he tried to get up, only to see the Paladin right in front of him, Aldur using his foot he stopped the Necromancer from moving by pushing his chest to the ground, started to raise his Hammer, preparing to deal the final blow, Marthis, seeing all of this happening, began to remember all his suffering, everything that he went through, and started to curse his life, to curse the people of the Kingdom, and everyone who could have done something to save him but at the end didn’t do anything.

Aldur, hearing his lament, he started to doubt about what he was doing, and from that he lowered the Hammer and stopped pushing Marthis’s chest against the ground, Marthis, confused with the whole situation, asked Aldur why he wasn’t killing him, why he was lowering his guard when he could use the moment to kill him? Aldur, looking at the Kingdom, he answered that what he was doing was bad, that he could bring thousands of innocent lives into an end, but that indeed the Kingdom itself was completely corrupted, that the lords of the Kingdom and the own King was using the people for their own benefits, and even though his job would be screaming to bring justice against them, he couldn’t do anything because he is just a man, that alone he couldn’t do anything.

Marthis, thinking about his life, and how maybe he was not the only one, but many more before him went through the same path like him, just stood there, doubting about what he was doing was even worth it at that point, until the hand of Aldur was held in front of him, while he only said, that maybe with his help they could bring a change to the Kingdom, that maybe they could change people’s minds and begin a rebellion against the corrupted King and all the corrupted people who surrounded him, Marthis was reluctant to accept Aldur’s offer, because he already made a deal with the Devil, and that he shouldn’t be asking help from a follower of the Dark forces, but Aldur answered that he was a Paladin of justice, he didn’t care about anyone’s belief, he only cared about judging people about their actions and if they deserved to be punished or not, Marthis wasn’t free from punishment, because of how many suffering he did to many people in towns to gather his forces, but that he could be redeemed if he helped his cause and worked for him and his Circle of Light, bringing death to the criminals who deserves it and fulfilling his task for the dark lord, because in their pact they never specified from who’s souls they should be from, so he could gather them by doing good, keeping the lives of those who deserves it, and ripping them from those who don’t.

With that, Marthis decided to follow Aldur’s offer, and accepted to help him to start changing the Kingdom, to bring the people together, and go against the Corrupted lords of the lands bringing them to their end, with a clear objective in mind, the life of Marthis was going to change, and this time for good.

Bianca Vilches, Ivan villablanca

A long time ago, when this earth was very young, there was a mythical kingdom over the heavens where gods of all kinds used to live, and who was in charge of all of them was the Father God.
It happened that this Father God had observed on earth, that there were many animals in constant discussion to decide who should be the leader of the forest in which they lived. So he decided to descend to that earthly paradise to put everything in order.
He gathered all the animals of the forest and sitting under the shade of a tree he dictated:
- I have seen, my dear animals, who have decided to define one of you to lead this pack, and as it seems to be of such importance to continue living in the Great Forest I am going to help you ...
Everyone at that time was expectant at such a statement.
- If any of you can give me the most important quality you possess and that you think is enough to be a leader, you will be granted the possibility of directing the Great Forest.
More than anxious to have heard that, each of the animals went to their homes to think and look for the reason that their creator had spoken to them.
The one who was most worried looking for his reason was the fox since he always wanted to be the first in every thing he did, he looked inside his house, in his garden and then he no longer knew where else to look for, that Mr. Rabbit passed by his house and as he saw the fox so worried he asked:

- What happens fox friend?
- Little bunny, I still can't find any good reason that can make me a leader.
- Well, you have many my friend, for example you always know how to make hunting plans, you are good at tracking long distances and you know very well how to hide.
- oh bunny! how right you are! Thank you!
Thus the happy fox returned to his home.
Soon the bunny jumped in the meadow looking for carrots to eat, and just when he saw an orange color on the ground, he saw the deer a little nervous.
- are you well dear friend?
- no I'm not, Mr. Rabbit, I still can't find qualities in me that make me look like a leader.
- Well, I see many qualities in you dear friend, You are very considerate with all help to all the animals that need you, or you advise them, and you also protect us.
- I had never thought that way, little friend, I appreciate it!
-It's a pleasure for me!
And almost when the day was about to end, Mr. Bunny was heading to his burrow he ran into Mr. Owl fluttering in the branches of fruit trees.
-Any problem Mr. Owl?
- Oh my friend I have thought all day about the qualities that I can possess to be able to manage this forest and I still can't find any.
- Well, if you want my opinion, I can tell you some: you always know how to solve difficult problems very quickly, you have an insurmountable memory and it is a delight to see their great wings that it uses to shelter children like me from the cold.
- do you think so?
-Of course yes! replied the little one happily.
- thank you little friend, thank you very much!
And so the bird flew happily to his home.
That night the Father God saw each of the animals to whom he had spoken to sleep from heaven, but the moment he reached the white rabbit hole he realized that he was not there. The God sought and sought, until he remembered that the little bunny liked to go for a walk at night, then from the sky he directed his gaze towards a cliff that gave a precise view of the Moon. There, at the tip of that cliff, he was sitting conversing with the moon, the God paid attention to what the rodent muttered:
- my dear friend moon, it's me again, - said the little one - today I could achieve what I set out to help each animal in the forest so that I could get the necessary reason to acquire a forest land ...
The Father God was surprised, how was it possible that that sweet little bunny would have preferred to help all other selfish beings rather than himself.
- the only thing I want - continued the little one - is that each one receives what he longs for ...
Excited, God returned to his bed smiling, waiting anxiously for the morning to come.
The next day, all the animals were prepared for the arrival of their creator and ready to receive their portion of land.
The fox came first, stepped forward and with a well-inflated chest exclaimed:
- Oh my father, the reason I must be the one who acquires the forest is my cunning - he said proudly - I am able to plan good hunting strategies, I can perceive smells at great distances and my agility in stalking makes me a good candidate .
Everyone was speechless, no doubt those of the fox were good reasons to manage a territory.
The second one that went ahead was the owl.
- Dear father, I must be the one who owns the great forest thanks to my intelligence - he said for sure - I can solve problems of a great nature in a couple of seconds, I can retain as much information as I please and my wings are so big that they shelter all the creatures.
Now everyone supported the owl, they always saw him fly at night and so admired the size of the bird.

But before they could reach a consensus, the deer stood up to the other two.
- Creator Father - the deer exclaimed - the reason why I should direct this forest so rough with vegetation and life, is because I am the most considerated, I help the animals that ask for it, I advise those who look for me, and I protect the that need it.
Now there was a clear answer, everyone wanted the deer to be in charge of that huge paradise.
-My children- he said calmly- you all have very good reasons to be the masters of this beautiful forest I would even say that you are the best in the world. But unfortunately none of you managed to give me a quality that was worth it.
Amazed, all the animals began to flutter. Everyone was confused. How was it possible that the reasons given were not enough to be in charge of the Great Forest?
- you have forgotten the most valuable quality of all: humility. Everyone was able to recognize their own qualities instead of thinking of those of others. That's what a good leader does, that's what Mr. Rabbit did ...
Everyone turned to see the little bunny.
- Mr.Rabbit - he continued - was able to put his needs before his own, and made each of you able to recognize his own abilities without asking for anything in return. Those, are the true qualities that form a leader, it is beyond thinking about what I can do, it is rather, seeing how to build the capacities that his group possesses, and make them work together, contributing with those wonderful qualities which I’ve created you.
The little rabbit excited for the news, wasn’t able to speak, especially since he was never interested in acquiring the Great Forest, his noble spirit just wanted to help.
And as the Father God knew the goodness in the heart of the little white creature, he granted him a greater honor. He painted the silhouette of the bunny inside his faithful nocturnal friend. That way, every time someone needed the advice of the moon they would think about the good deeds of that humble bunny and they could act in a good way.

My ears could detect life. I could hear heartbeats, blood flowing like rushing rivers. It made my stomach roar but I had no desire to eat flesh. I crawled deeper into my cave. It was in a swamp. Cold. Dark. Lonely, thinking about how and when did I get here. I searched in my mind for an answer. Somehow I don't remember much. Just bits and pieces of this evening came to me.

I stared into nothingness as my memories unfolded in my head. I'm conscious that I haven't always been like this. I was human once. Back in the last century, I was a youth. I had a home. I barely remember anyone from my family. I can’t even remember my face. I don’t think I ever will though.

Outside of my cave, footsteps were heard. A threat? Human or animal? A small creature entered the cave running and stayed by the edge of the entrance. I got a little closer and sniffed the air, they weren't a threat, they didn't smell like evil, but I smelled fear. The creature was terrified and agitated, it seems like it had escaped from someone. They were clinging to their knees, their chest was shaking heavily. I didn't want to bother them, so I returned to the bottom of my cave to rest for a while.

It’s been 3 hours since the creature entered my cave, and they must have felt pretty safe here because it seems like they have fallen asleep. I've resigned myself to just watch without moving, I’m genuinely interested in them. My head was scrambled with ideas and doubts about their past, where do they come from and why were they so scared?

Without really thinking about it I got much closer to the creature, until I could see the little details of its face. They had strange features, thin hair, translucent skin, and a long tail, but what attracted me the most were their eyes; Large, out of focus, and when they were open I noticed they didn't have any light in them...

”Who is there?” the creature asked while facing the ground, slowly turning their head to follow the sound made by me. ”Who is there?” they asked again but louder this time, their voice echoed in the walls of the cave. “Are you here to hurt me?”.

“No, I’m not.” I said quickly to not worry the strange visitor, they visibly relaxed a bit.

“So, why are you here?”

"This, in fact, has been my cave for a very long time." I said, and they suddenly looked at me. “Really?”

“Oh no, don't look into my eyes!” I yelled and quickly closed my own eyes to avoid the curse. “I don’t want to kill you!”

They were silent for a second and then I felt they moved towards me.

“Kill me? What are you talking about?” They asked with apparent confusion in their voice.

“I’m cursed. Every creature that has looked into my eyes has died. I do not desire to do the same with you.” I answered afflicted.

“Don’t you worry, mighty snake, I don’t think you can kill me if I can’t see you.”

“Huh? You can’t see...?” I hesitated, I didn’t want to open my eyes yet, not until I was sure that I wasn’t going to kill somebody today.

“Not even a piece of light.”

I heard a little sob and decided to open my eyes. I looked at them, they were “staring” at the ground, a bitter expression was carved on their face. They were obviously afflicted by their condition.

I was worried about them, but my mind was somewhere else. I couldn’t believed that finally after all these years of being alone, I was actually having a conversation and the other person wasn’t completely terrified of me. I’ve always wanted this, to talk to someone, and maybe having a friend too…What I said it wasn’t a lie, every creature that has came into my cave has perished, not because I wanted to, it’s that terrible curse.

I’ve cried for each one of those creatures that came to me with wonder in their hearts and only found death. But this one, this tiny being, it’s different.

“Hmm...So, tell me, what’s your name?” I asked, and the creature turned their head to me.

“Aswang.” They apparently sense the world around them through their hearing, their ears wiggled a lot when I spoke, even at the sound of their own voice. “And yours?” They asked me back, with genuine curiosity filtering through their words.

“I had a name before, but I don’t remember it anymore.” I looked at the ceiling of the cave, so many years have passed by that my memory has deteriorated.

“What about Morte? I used to know a friend with that name.” Something inside me clicked when I heard that name, as if it were perfect for me.

“I like Morte.” Aswang smiled, and so did I.

The next morning I thought that for once in a very long time, I was truly comfortable in my cave. Aswang had gone out to look for fruits or vegetables they could eat, I told them that I didn’t eat anything at all because my body only digested meat and I couldn’t eat anything else.

“You can’t eat plants either?” Aswang asked me while they were munching an apple.

I shook my head, “No, I cannot. But I recharge energies through sleep, so food isn’t really a problem for me.”

“So, you haven’t eaten anyone through your whole life?” Aswang stopped chewing to face me.

“Well, I probably shouldn’t say no, because I don’t remember most of my life. But for as long as I can remember I haven’t eaten someone willingly…”

Suddenly I heard footsteps outside, I looked at the entrance of the cave. Aswang must have heard them too because they stood behind me, as if I could protect them from what was out there.

“They are here for me…” I glanced at Aswang, their face was contracted from despair. “Morte, please, don’t let them take me.” They whispered.

Those words struck me deep within me. Aswang was so familiar in an odd way, I couldn't help but feel that somehow we knew each other from the past. Large groups of people began to enter the cave, there were hundreds of thousands of them, that I myself began to feel Aswang's terror. What would they want from them? Are they going to hurt them? As soon as I thought about someone hurting Aswang, my blood started boiling. I had to do something.

“Don’t worry, I will protect you.”

As I said those words, flashbacks runned fastly through my mind.

“Morte! Save me, please!”
“I will protect you, I promise.”

Suddenly all these images came back to me. I could see myself as a human tied to an operating table and my arms were covered in stitches and gauze. The lights in the room were blinding, so I found almost impossible to recognize who were those persons in dressing gowns. I could hear the dripping serum and the devilish beeping from the heart monitor. I turned my head to the side and looked up. There was someone right next to me, looking just as bad as me, or even worse. “You finally wake up, huh, Morte?” I smiled through the pain, and I looked even higher to find myself with a strangely familiar pair of empty eyes, and their name burned in my throat and died on the tip of my tongue.

My mind started to get cloudy and I felt dizzy. The troops with rare skins began to move closer and closer to our position, one of them was pointing an object at Aswang that I didn't recognize.

“Morte, we have to get out of here, now!” Aswang were still behind me, but my body felt too heavy to move. “Morte, please…” They begged, but I still couldn’t move.

“I've got the target on sight, permission to shoot?”

There was a long silence until someone spoke loudly. “Permission granted.”

“Morte!”

At the same time as I heard the projectile hurtling through the cave at an incredible speed, my body covered Aswang. In an instant, I felt the paralyzing poison running through my body. Within seconds, most of my body was stiff, and I could do nothing but tell Aswang that I would look for them wherever they’ll be taken, that I would go after them.

“Hey, listen to me…” Aswang were still hiding behind my embrace, crying quietly with hopeless despair. “In a minute the venom will have petrified me completely, I’m sure these people will try to capture you then. Run, try to escape now, but don’t worry if you can’t, I will be with you until the last second that I have.” The troops were already behind our backs.

“Morte, will you come save me?” Aswang cried while they were grabbing them.

“I promise, my friend.”

                                                   The end.

Created by: Catalina Flores, Julian Muñoz and Pia Rivera.

By Javier Silva and Nataly Marin

Everything all right, Nabetse?, why the face?’ she said to her husband.

'Nothing important, today was a normal day but it could’ve been better. You know that I always have to be my best, since I'm the only one in the Human Resources Department. I have an important responsibility, or so I think. What about your day?’

She looked around and saw other couples dining, all of them were obviously in the same restaurant but clearly not in the same situation. She ended up looking him in the eyes, swallowing what she had been chewing to avoid speaking. After a long pause, she finally said with a shaky voice, ‘er… Nabetse, I was thinking and I have to ask you this, because I can’t hold it in any longer.'

‘No problem, just tell me.’

‘I know that you work for us as a family, but you haven’t had any time for us to spend together, I mean, time to have fun... Recently you’ve been behaving weird... you haven't told me where you've been or who with. I'm scared…'

Nabetse looked at her confused, those words didn't sound like hers.

'Don't be, I promise I’ll make time for you soon, it’s just… my job. I've been working extra hours.'

'You know what?... my… my mother said… she told me that she saw you with other girl last Friday, is that true?’ she said inexpensively.

‘Well, yes, I’m sorry if that bothered you, but I had to do it.’

So her mother had been right...

'What were you doing?'

'I can't tell you, I didn't want you to find out this way.'

'This can't be, not you, Nabetse, not you...' her words came out a bit tearful.

Nabetse laughed.

'No, honey, it's not what you think.'

She was so upset, before she knew it, she'd stood up and stormed out of the restaurant, running back home. Nabetse left some money on the table and followed her.

'Alice stop, what happened? Why are you acting like this?' Nabetse called after her, as he sprinted along the path trying to keep up with her.

Alice didn't say anything, she wasn't listening anymore, she just kept running, not hiding her tears as they fell onto the path below.

'ALICE, STO-’

But Alice didn’t stop, and neither did the car.

'Alice? Hey, Alice, wake up, you’ve fallen asleep on the table.'

She woke up with a deep breath, she had fallen asleep in the coffee shop.

'Alice, what do you fancy today?' asked the waiter of the coffee shop 'the same as usual, right?'

'Yes, please, John', she answered with an exhausted face. 'Just my coffee as usual' she said as if she were about to faint. ‘Sorry I hadn’t realised I’d dozed off.’

'What’s wrong?' asked the waiter

'Nothing, I just had a bad dream in which a car crashed into me.I didn't sleep very well last night, what a nightmare!'

The waiter made a correspondent smile waiting for the continuation of her order, but she wasn't there anymore, her own words had taken her to the past.

'What a nightmare…' she repeated to herself, whispering.

The waiter looked at her concerned.

'Alice?' The voice of the waiter took her to her parents' house, the house that she’d never been able to call home…

'What a nightmare' her mother used to say to her ironically when her father had hit her. ’You’re always painting yourself as the victim, it’s never your fault, is it?’ her mother mocked her, not listening to her pleas against her father.

All of a sudden she came back to her senses.

'Alice!' said the waiter, snapping his fingers in front of her.

‘Why did I have to remember that?’ she said murmuring to herself while an unannounced drop fell from her cheeks, she was about to sob.

‘Hey! Alice? Are you sure you’re okay?’ asked John, his tone concerned.

‘Oh, I’m sorry, I’m okay, sorry,' she whispered with a broken voice. She wiped the tears off of her face, trying to recompose herself.

‘I didn’t realise I was…’ suddenly she felt stupid and released a little laugh 'but it’s nothing I just need to sleep more, so I think I’ll take my coffee to go.’ Once she was ready, she exited the coffee shop and trek back home.

'There you are, girl, where were you? What's happening here!?'

Alice avoided looking into her father's eyes.

'Sorry, I got distracted.'

Her father stared at her, his expression severe.

'Leave.'

Alice ran out of the room, desperate to escape his imposing gaze. She retreated back to the safety of her bedroom. If she remained quiet there, there was a much lower chance that she’d be scolded. However, they always seemed to find a way.

' Stop lazing around in your bedroom, Alice! Help me! I'm not your servant, make yourself useful and do something for God’s sake', said her mother as a "maternal greeting".

She knew that expression of disapproval, shortly would come from her father too. It was always the same story.

'Your daughter obviously doesn't want to help with the housework!'

From the living room she heard her father's steps slowly approaching. One step, two steps, three steps, four…

'...five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten! Ready or not, here I come!' Alice turned around, attempting to locate the children from the neighbourhood, but try as she might, she couldn’t find any of them.

'I don't like this game,' she said once she had lost, unable to locate the other children in the allotted amount of time.

'Don't play then,' said one of the children unimpressed.

And so she didn’t, deciding to leave, turning away from the others, upset. She was a very impulsive girl who never knew how to control her feelings, the only things that she could do was cry and scold.

'C'mon Alice, don’t leave. Let's go and play a different game!'

'No, I don't want to anymore,' Alice replied sulkily.

The other children were already playing among each other except one, Nabetse. He was the only one who was the same age.

'Why are you always upset?' He asked, his tone taking on a more curious note rather than an admonishing one.

'Why do you never do what I say? I know best,' Alice said at the same time as her mother’s voice in her head. The voice continued, 'how many times do I have to tell you? I don't want more problems from you! Is it that hard to understand, are you really that stupid? Look at me!

'I'm sorry mum, it won't happen again'

She slapped her daughter.

'Of course it won't, you hear me? I am sick of being called by the teacher, simply because you can’t behave yourself! This is the last time you misbehave, okay?!

Alice nodded, intimidated by her mother’s harsh tone.

'Answer me, you insolent girl! Are you mute now, I highly doubt that considering how much you love talking in class!'

'But mum, I wasn't talking, it was my classmate talking to me, I was trying to…'

Her father suddenly appeared in the doorway, his icy gaze upon her. Alice stopped abruptly, before shifting her gaze towards the ground.

'What are you talking about?' Nabetse said, interrupting her thoughts.

Is it that hard to understand, are you really that stupid?

'What's happening here?' a woman’s voice spoke, causing Alice to freeze. She avoided looking into the woman's eyes

'Sorry, I got upset.'

The woman stared at her, her expression worried.

'Come.'

The woman had broken the script, Alice didn't know how to react.

'Sorry?'

'Come, what happened, why are you so upset?' her voice was kind, a complete parallel to her mother’s words, replaying in her head.

'She didn't want to play and…'

The woman abruptly interrupted him.

'No, son, I didn't ask you.'

Alice was nervous, about to cry

'Oh no, dear. Don't cry, it's okay to be mad,' she said, pulling her into a hug.

Alice wanted to cry, she knew she’d just been told not to, but she couldn’t help it. ‘I’m sorry!’ she said between sobs, ‘I don’t want to disobey but I can’t help it…’

Nabetse hugged her too, caressing her hair gently. 'I thought you were just an angry person' commented Nabetse. ‘You're usually angry, I didn't think you would cry, just over something I said. I'm sorry for hurting your feelings.'

Alice started sobbing

'It's not your fault, son, the angrier one seems, the sadder one feels.'

Nabetse suddenly had an idea, his face lighting up. 'Do you wanna play in my house? My mum always buys me toys and I have no one to share with.'

Alice nodded, her tears subsiding slightly, a small smile beginning to show on her lips.

'Where were you?' Her mother said once she arrived home.

'At a friend’s house.'

'Fine, as long as you weren’t at Geisha's house,' her mother had obviously seen Alice with that woman.

'Who's she?'

'Oh, just a terrible single mum of an Asianish boy. She's definitely not a good influence for a girl like you. What an awful mother, raising her child in a broken home.' She tutted, clearly disgusted by the mere prospect of it.

'Where's my dinner!?' Her dad screamed from the kitchen.

From then on she started to play with Nabetse in secret, his mother soon becoming the most loving person she'd ever met. From time to time, Geisha took them to a coffee shop. She loved the coffee they served there, and the children loved to order extra-chocolate croissants. Geisha became the sun in Alice’s life, Nabetse was Alice's world and Geisha was her sun... But then night fell. It was too unexpected, too fast, one day everything was fine, but then the next everything changed. Geisha suddenly died from an unknown cause to her. Before she knew it, Nabetse was carted off to live with his aunt, miles away. Her sun had died, and her world had left…

Every now and then, Alice would revisit the coffee shop, relieving the fond memories she’d had there. Any way to keep them alive in her mind.

'Alice, what do you fancy today? The same as usual, right?'

'Yes, Please, John, just my coffee as usual.'

'Alice?' said an enquiring voice behind her.

She turned around and was shocked at the sight before her.

'Nabetse!? Is that you!?'

'Of course I'm me, I've always been myself,' he joked, a wide smile filling his face.

After a hug he accepted her offer to have a coffee.

'You know what?' She said to the waiter, 'this time I want some extra-chocolate croissants.'

Though Nabetse was now a young adult, their friendship hadn’t died a bit, it was like no time had passed at all. Except this time, he was here to stay.

They exited the coffee shop and chatting amicably as they visited the places they’d often frequented together. She had always hoped to see him again in the coffee shop, as they promised themselves before he’d left. But she honestly hadn’t expected to succeed after so many years of uncertainty.

Her father grabbed her by her hair and started scolding her, holding her tightly.

'How dare you!? I didn't raise you to be a common girl, your mother already told me that she saw you kissing a boy around the city. Don't you have any shame!?' he shouted, his face inches from hers. He cried at her again.

'No, I didn't, that's not true.'

'Are you calling your mother a liar!?’ He freed her, dropping her down to the ground, looking at her with disgust.

'No, I swear I didn't, I just meant that maybe she got confused, she always misinterprets things. Don’t you remember the time she thought you were having an affair, but you were just greeting a distant cousin, remember?'

Black? White? Hard to say. The colours appeared in front of her due to her words, but the remaining colour was purple all around her eye.

'Insolent poisonous girl, just like your mother!'

The punch stunned her, causing her ears to ring loudly with all sorts of strange noises.

'I don't know how could you…' she heard whispering very far away, '...accept it, this is her… I hope she…'

The noises became louder and louder as the pain started to burn where she had been struck. She felt like she was dying, her life passing in front of her eyes. Her mother had been careless, only succeeding in denying her of any happiness. Her father was a very shallow person whose only concern was getting rid of problems as quickly as he could. Geisha —as Alice’s mother had called her— had been the first person in her world who took care of her, and Nabetse was the most caring friend that she could ever hope for. He never hurt her, always knew when she was sad, and exactly how to surprise her with his funny ideas. But now it was too late, now she could never know what would've happened if…

'...happening this, God no…' this time she recognised the voice as Nabetse’s.

'...please, don't… to me, you know… you and only…'

What was happening to her? Suddenly she had been seeing her life from a new perspective, everything became crystal clear.

She moved a finger, took a deep breath and woke up.

'Alice!' Nabetse said, overjoyed with emotion.

'I'm sorry I…'

Her mother interrupted her as she entered the hospital room.

'There you are, what a scare you gave us, how do you feel?'

'I'll be better when you leave.' Her mother looked at her as if she’d just been slapped in the face. But Alice didn’t care, she was older now, she could answer back.

'Well, maybe you won't be able to go to my surprise,' Nabetse said hesitantly, trying to defuse the tension in the room,

'Go your surprise?' Alice looked away from her mother, moving all of her attention onto Nabetse.

'Yes, The reason I’ve been so busy these past few weeks was because I was planning something for you.’ He gave a nervous chuckle. ‘I guess it’s not a surprise now. I know what your mother told you and let me just say that it’s...'

'Nabetse, I know, I know. I'm sorry, I overreacted. But who was she?'

'The woman who I was seeing? Well, why don’t I just show you.' Nabetse handed her a colourful little card. Written on the front in bright jaunty text were the words "The house of your dreams, one call away", coupled with a number, a name and a face. So that’s who the woman was… Alice felt ridiculous, she knew she’d overreacted, but Nabetse had been trying to do a wonderful thing this entire time...

Her Nabetse was still the caring boy, she’d met all those years ago. But she refused if she was going to be the same insecure girl she’d always been. No… not anymore. Never again, she saw it all clearly now.

‘Nurse, would you please remove this woman from my hospital room, she’s causing me a lot of stress,’ Alice said to one of the nurses checking her file. Despite her mother’s objections, Alice simply watched on as she was guided out of the room, before returning back to her love, her beautiful Nabetse. Her face lit up once more, a weight finally being lifted as they began to discuss their future plans.

70 years, 70 years in this life.

Children are tried to hide their repression of our people, but sooner or later they are part of this.

I'm the Machi. Over the years I have acquired very valuable knowledge for my people, who at the moment do not go through a good winter; we live off our plantings and livestock, we owe everything to our Auke Mapu, but this year's planting season was not the best.

We had years full of good harvests, for we had lands in abundance, so we could let it rest. Today we have less and less space, they take over our lands, they take away our culture, but worst of all:they kill us like stray dogs.

Nawel, a 14-year-old who's been a part of us, has been living with five pellets embedded in his left leg for five months, one of them millimeters from the patella, and another very close to his femoral artery. He was an innocent child, who was involuntarily involved in this circle of violence. It is said that there are already more than 133 of our children, but these are only reported cases, the media and the Chilean population will never know the reality.

I saw everything, right under my nose, the police targeting two kids, a five-year-old and Nawel,Tayul was watching when they shot, we had hidden them along with his sister Rayen in the bathrooms. We were raided quickly and aggressively, we couldn't do much.

He, a mother of nine, lived this story with me, I saw her, there, she felt vulnerable, with a drowned voice."They passed by a road around here, running like in a row, running and shooting, running and shooting. The one who played, he played," he'd tell me.

In the news they said "The stage was presented with a group of about eight or nine carabinieri, presumably Special Forces and GOPE, clustered near a tree at the back of the house, and others that transited through the immediately adjoining courtyard. It was around 5:30 p.m. when one moving north to south through the yard fired a shotgun in the direction of the place where the boy Nawel was, less than two metres from the back door of the house."

The shot caught poor Nawel within seven metres, Nawel tried to enter the house on his own, I helped as I could, with my age I have no greater strength. Poor Kurü did not realize what happened, she was worried about protecting Tayul and Rayel, who cried in hiding in the bathroom, it was not until she dropped Nawel's pants, that she noticed the damage caused by her leg.

They wanted to know who we are. Looking for guilty of assaulting people, not so far from where we are, there were dozens of them, running down the hills and trails, aggressive, violent, with clear use of the power they believe they had. We were no longer in our quiet lands, we were in the middle of a war, an unfair one, they equipped with all kinds of weapons, helicopters and drones flying over our heads, and we, only with our clothes and with hands that could not defend us.

After hurting the boy, the police fled away from the house, on the way to the mountain, but what they had done was not enough, after a while they returned and without being satisfied to be outside the house, they entered without caring about anything or anyone They immobilized the parents of the children, taken to the front yard, where they were thrown to the floor, being pointed with guns and tied with safety plastics.

Kurü hugged Nawel when they entered the police, violently separated them, thrown to the ground and cannulated without being handcuffed, being more than an hour lying on the floor. The only thing I wanted was for those demons to get away from my people, I asked them to leave, that they didn't want to be here, to leave us alone.

It was minutes in which Kurü could contain Tayus and Rayen, but soon they separated us from the children. The pacos just repeated “Cooperate, where are the weapons, the child is going to bleed, where are the weapons, help to look for weapons. ”, They said, surrounding her. "What weapons, if I come from town, what weapons." They searched everything, smashed the doors and windows, took our tools, stole our food, and so they left us. We took the child as fast as we could to a hospital, when they arrived they warned us that he was about to lose his leg due to blood loss, and the infection he contracted by having the wound exposed for so long in a rural sector He left it with sequels.
VALERIA SALINAS

Ethel Castañeda

Nicolás Choque

Marlies Rivera

Max and Lyz are a married couple for 10 years, they are a common marriage, without children. They think they know each other very well, because they have been together for a long time and their life has passed without alterations, until Max started taking rabbits home, without consulting her, and behaving in a strange way. Worst of all, he began to downplay her; He stopped being attentive, loving and communicative. This raised suspicions in Lyz that she was convinced that her husband had an affair with another woman. One day, with a scorching summer sun, Lyz couldn't stand her husband's indiffMax and Lyz are a married couple for 10 years, they are a common marriage, without children. They think they know each other very well, because they have been together for a long time and their life has passed without alterations, until Max started taking rabbits home, without consulting her, and behaving in a strange way. Worst of all, he began to downplayerence anymore and went to face him in his office. When she entered the office, Max closed his laptop nervously and quickly, exacerbating her suspicions to the point of provoking the first fight of many that would come in the future.

-We have to talk - Lyz said furiously.

-What do you want? I'm busy - Max replied.

-Since you brought those "rabbits", you have behaved in a strange way and every day is worst. It never occurred to you to ask if I agreed or not - said Lyz.

-I don't know what you're talking about, I'm the same as always, you've gone crazy - Max said mockingly.

Lyz ran to the door and slammed it, showing all her fury and bewilderment. That night she could not fall asleep thinking about what she would do to clarify the situation and end the problem at once.

For his part Max, who almost did not sleep for spending extra time with his rabbits and his work; which his wife did not really know; she thought her husband was a businessman. He was about to see the results of his arduous and long hours of silent experimental work.

The next day, Lyz approached Max and gave him a long and strange shopping list, under the pretext of being very important and urgent for her. After making sure that Max had left, she took the opportunity to enter his office and review among his things, the evidence to confirm her suspicions. First it was the laptop, but when she tried to enter the system, it had a password that prevented it from entering. She immediately went to search through his wardrobe and in a coat she found a paper that said: I LOVE YOU.

With this evidence in hand, she thought her suspicions were well. Even so, she didn't stop feeling much regret in her heart, because she still loved her husband.

Lyz tried to enter the system with that message, thinking it would be the key; But she failed. Which led her to give credit to her suspicions of infidelity and she regretted it from the depths of his heart, her eyes filled with tears. She remembered the day they met, their romantic marriage request, their wedding day. ... never thought this could happen to her.

It was too late when Max returned from shopping, he was exhausted and grumpy about how difficult it was to find all the products on his wife's long list, in fact he had wasted too much time on it and his work with the rabbits was late.

Lyz who was waiting for him more impatient and angry than Max, as soon as she saw him come in, jumped in his seat and hurried to ask him about the note he had found at the bottom of his coat. Surprised but without losing his sanity, something typical of his trade, Max replied:

-That note is not mine, and why do you check my stuff?

-I have every right to check your stuff, I'm your wife, don't forget it; And I don't believe you If it's not yours, why is it in your coat?

-I found that note lying on the street and I kept it because I liked the lyrics; I also don't have time to breathe, less to lose it in those things.

Lyz looked at him incredulously and without saying anything, dropped the note and went to bed; It was already too late and with everything that happened in the day, she didn't want to stay standing, she was mentally exhausted. She did not understand what was happening with her husband, had changed so much and with him, the relationship.

Max did not give much importance to what happened, but if he thought that perhaps he should be a little more cautious with the things he did not want his wife to see, that note had not found it on the street, but he could not think of anything else to say at that moment. After being a few minutes standing where he stayed after the strange discussion with his wife, he prepared to go where his rabbits, he had already wasted a lot of time, now he had to recover it.

A whole week passed, nothing changed, the usual routine, the distance between the usual marriage. Lyz thought about what to do to find out what Max was up to, she couldn't think of anything, she thought that maybe she should go back to his office to see if she now found something that would help her at least approach the answers she wanted. One day, Max rushed out of the house, without saying where he was going, as it happened lately and Lyz without thinking, ran to the office, there was the laptop again. She was surprised to see that it was unlocked. Quickly she began to read each icon that appeared on the screen, there were names, surely of each rabbit, but one of the icons said “ADDRESSES”, Lyz clicked on the icon and a long list of addresses appeared, then took a paper and a pencil, copied three directions, closed the window that opened and left there. She felt that her heart was going to flow out of her mouth so fast that it throbbed; she was scared and happy at the same time. Lyz thought could finally know what her husband was hiding.

Max had not slept all night as usual to catch up with his work, it was already noon when he was called to ask him to show his progress at work, he was supposed to show it the day before, but he couldn't with everything was delayed with Lyz. When he left several streets of his house, he remembered that he had not turned off his laptop and prayed that Lyz would not return to his office. He reached his boss, showed him what he had advanced with the rabbits, his boss looked at him with an unsatisfied face.

-Only this have you advanced?

-It is not so easy to find a way to train rabbits, it is not something that has been done before.

-I do not care! -the boss shouted- I need results soon, you know what your deadline is, and you know what will happen to you if you don't comply with that.

-Yes sir, I know, you will see that I will have everything ready for that day.

-I hope so, I would not like to lose a worker as good as you.

Max returned home to continue his work and meet the deadline; otherwise, he would have to pay the consequences. When he arrived, Lyz was cooking, it seemed normal, and she hadn't gone anywhere, which could mean she didn't enter the office. Max wanted to believe that.

-I'm here - said Max- What do you cook?

-Stew, I did it because I know you like it

-I certainly like it a lot, thanks.

Lyz was a little happy that Max had spoken to her casually, since he spent most of his time at work or with rabbits, there were almost no exchanges of words between them, however, she still had in mind to go to the directions. She didn't want to go that day because she knew that Max would remember that he had left his laptop open and would suspect, so she had to contain her desire to know the truth, at least until the next day.

They had already finished lunch when Lyz came up with an excuse to go out and get directions.

-Tomorrow, I'll go see my friend, Mary, I haven't seen her for a long time, I'd like to know how she is.

-Sounds good to me, come on, no problem, bring her a gift, have - Max said- some money to Lyz, and give my regards.

-Of course - Lyz said smiling - I will give your regards.

Her idea worked perfectly even now she had money to buy something if she was hungry or if she wanted to take a taxi, everything went better than she expected.

The next day, he got up early to find where the addresses were, perhaps one of them was close to where they lived and indeed, one was quite close, she took her bag and left. When she reached the address, which was five blocks from her house, she hesitated to knock on the door, but finally she did, she must know the truth.

-Hello, can I help you? - Opened a thin blonde woman.

-Hi ... -Lyz didn't think what she was going to say exactly- Do you know Max Johnson?

-Mmmmm yes, who are you?

-I'm a friend, I'm looking to Max.

-Well, he doesn't live here, he's just a co-worker.

-And where is he working? I can find him more easily.

-I can't give that informativo - she said nervously - I have things to do, see you later.

-not! Wait! -Lyz shouted holding the door- I need to know.

-I'm sorry…

The girl was not much help, but Lyz did not give up, she still had two more addresses and would go to the next one, but she would have to take a taxi to get there. She arrived at a big house, she rang the bell, this time a man opened.

-Yes?

-Hi, excuse me, do you know Max Johnson?

-Yes who are you?

-I am a friend, I want to find him.

-well, he doesn't live here.

-I assumed ... Do you know where he works?

-I can't.

-But I need to know, to find …

- Madam - said the man with an annoyed face and closing the Door - I can't help you.

-It's okay.

Second failed attempt, but there was still a possibility and if she couldn't find anything, she would have to wait longer until she found another opportunity to check her husband's laptop and get more addresses. She had to take another taxi to get to the last address, when she arrived, she saw herself in front of a gate. What will this be, Lyz wondered. She didn't know whether to knock on the gate to see if anyone was leaving or wait a little to see if someone was arriving or leaving; she decided to wait. She sat for fifteen minutes waiting, when she saw a man approaching, Lyz got up and ran to hide, she wanted to see what that place was about and the people who entered there. The man entered with a key and closed behind him, five minutes later he left again, this time with another man accompanying him, they were going to get in a car, but the man who came from inside the gate said he forgot something, went in to look for him and when it came out, it didn't close the gate well. This was Lyz's opportunity, she waited for them to leave and ran towards the gate, when she entered she saw many cages with rabbits and in the background; a door. She cautiously walked to the door and, fortunately, was open. When she entered, Lyz saw a desk and many papers on it, she started looking at the papers, looking for something to tell her what all that was. Finally, she found a file, whose title said "SECRET MISSION", began to read it and found all the information she needed, among one of the names that came out in the section "Keepers in charge of training rabbits" was her husband's name; Max Johnson Miller She immediately ran off to take a taxi, she felt very exalted, her husband was a complete stranger, never imagined that her husband could devote himself to something like that. She barely got home and went to the kitchen and took a knife, then headed to her husband, who was with the rabbits and yelled at her.

-Are you in charge of training rabbits to steal ?!

-Lyz! What are you saying?

-Don't lie to me, I know everything, I found everything I needed to understand what was going on with you, why you have changed so much and why are you so fond of these rabbits, so much that you even stopped paying attention to me, your wife! .

-Lyz, calm down, I didn't tell you anything for our sake, if I did, they would kill us both, understand me!

-I only understand that if I don't finish these rabbits once and for all, this won't end - Lyz said, starting to stab the rabbits- Goodbye to our problems!

-Stop Lyz!

Max tried to take Lyz's knife away, but she was beside herself and almost cut it, so he had no choice to let her kill all the rabbits and along with them, all his effort and work, What would I do now? They were going to kill them for two reasons, his wife knew what he was doing and he didn't have the rabbits anymore, this was their end.

Once Lyz finished all the rabbits, she threw the knife and stared at Max. In part, she felt happy that the reason for his distance was not a lover, but she knew what it meant to have done what she did, and as her husband said, knowing what she does.

-I'm sorry - Lyz said, her eyes full of tears - If I hadn't doubted you, none of this would have happened.

-Lyz ... let's escape, we still don't know everything that happened, we have time to escape and disappear, let's get out of here.

-Are you sure? -said Lyz approaching Max- Will nothing happen to us?

-No - Max said very sure and hugging Lyz - everything will be fine.

They started packing and left for the airport. They would leave the country forever, they were not going to risk being found. They took the first flight to Chile, they would never imagine that they were going to that country. This was a great opportunity to start over as a marriage and stop being complete strangers.

THE END

He called her and she didn’t pick up the phone, Robert took a look at her closet, her favorite dress and high heels weren’t there, but Danielle told him that she was with some friends so he wasn’t worried.

Robert was scrolling through his Instagram feed, and while he was looking at a friends instastories he saw her, at the background of the picture, kissing her ex-boyfriend. Robert was so mad at her and felt very hurt, and in turn wanted to hurt her as well. So he took his car and went to look for her, he looked in all the bars of the city and as soon as he found them, he pointed at him with a gun and made her confess everything. All the people at the bar were so shocked and scared- the owner decided to call the police. Unfortunately the police arrived too late; Robert had already shot Danielle in the head and Alex as well. When the cops arrived they handcuffed Robert immediately and took him to jail. The rabbits were left alone since they had no one to take care of them, they all got sick and died.

                    ~T H E E N D~
