Teacher app - DOJO, makes communication with families SO much easier. I don’t like the save numbers in my phone cause I don’t want to accidentally send them a text meant for a friend. 😂 irrational fear! I also like that I can post pictures straight to their portfolio because I am the WORST at taking them and getting them out.

ClassDojo! I love the parent communication piece of it without giving out your personal phone number. It also is super great for classroom management and keeping everyone on the child’s “team” in the know and engaged!

My favorite teacher app is label pics. This app allows one to create classroom labels with pictures that you can easily customize and format to fit your classroom style and needs. It’s great for the preschool age as it makes center time labels a breeze.

I like classroom DOJO because it makes communication with families easy, but you can also plan events - like conferences - and you’re able to see your sign ups/schedules without having to keep track of so much paper!

I’ve used BLOOMZ before and it had many of the same features, also easy to use with parents.

SEESAW was great to send individualized activities to students at a time we needed it most (COVID).

I like Instagram over other social media apps because it’s mainly just pictures and short posts. I feel like some people use other apps (like Facebook) to vent or get on a soapbox and it ends up stressing me out! Instagram is simple and seeing fun pictures of people in my life brings me joy!

My favorite app is the Notes App. I literally use it every day both at work and home. It’s handy to put in a quick note to help me remember to do something, but I can also use it during observations for students and tracking speech sound production errors during a conversation without the student realizing what I’m doing. It’s just as handy to create my grocery list as I’ll never forget it at home. I appreciate the ability to share notes via text or email. I also like that it has a scanning feature so that I can scan documents when needed from home.

My favorite app is Libby! I can get books that are available as audiobooks through the public library and listen to them when I’m working out, cleaning, etc. I use good reads in conjunction with it to document the books I read so I can remember and not read the same one twice. 🤣🫣
