I plan to really focus on that Solid tier 1 instruction paired with different remediation to fill in the gaps created due to Covid instead of jumping to intervention if they are behind grade level.

I am the IRT in my building so I plan to use this presentation with my new teachers. This will help them understand the Tiered Systems and how we incorporate them into our school.

I love how informative this was. I plan on directing my two new teammates to this presentation to help them understand the difference between remediation and intervention and what Tier I, II, and III look like! I personally will be using a lot more technology to do remediation and intervention this year!

I enjoyed how direct the information was. This lesson clearly defined the difference between remediation and intervention and gave clear examples.

I like the idea of setting students up for remediation practice on their online days. Giving them the tools to "be the teacher" to create an instructional video.

This is a great resource for all teachers, but especially for a new teacher. I think it is important to know that an intervention is more intensive and more focused on an area of weakness. This intervention is driven by data collected from diagnostics.

I will try to incorporate more multi-sensory activities and graphic organizers. Also, I will show students that pausing videos and replaying sections can be helpful when trying to learn something that has many parts.
