We decided that we would order blankets and give them to the children and the hospital because of the hospitals lack of money for things like blankets. We had ordered a few and were waiting for them to arrive and when they did, we found a major issue with them. They were very thin to give to the kids and would be no better than the hospital blankets. Since we ordered almost triple the amount of blankets we needed, we came up with an idea to stitch two of them on top of each other to make them thicker. One of the large paintings ordered was not clearly visible (or refundable). Using a few art materials I found while unpacking, I splashed some paint over this painting. In this case we were able to creatively come up with a idea to sew 2 blankets together solving our problem. 

Example 2 - This relates to the theme by showing how an almost useless canvas had turned into a nice edition to the new house.
