Hello, my name is Amy Huynh. I was born in Vietnam and came to The United States in 2021 to live with my family and pursue my bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. I already transferred to Texas State University but returned to Austin Community College to start my second major in Psychology.

I love photography and hiking. Therefore, I usually spend my weekends exploring the mountains with my best friend-- a Ricoh GRIII, to merge with the beauty of sunrise or sunset.

I love classical music and am currently a teacher at Leander Music School and piano accompaniment for Austin Alliance Church. More than learning to use an instrument, I aim to help students discover their passion for music and how to communicate with music.

I'm also passionate about aquascape. In my bedroom, I have three freshwater fish tanks, including goldfish, guppies, and bettas. Watching and caring for them are my peaceful moments after a long day at school and work.

My View About History

I love reading books and learning about history, as understanding history helps us understand more about humanity and what contributes to society nowadays. Moreover, as I was born in an Asian country, learning American history also helped me to know more about Western culture, live in harmony with others, and communicate better.
