Because we teach there and need to "know our audience."

The essence of what our students are informs what school we are.

The cultures and nationalities of our students make our school different, which affects the way we teach and interact with students and peers, and how we plan our lessons.

Because the staffing is so transient this creates a different atmosphere to schools in the UK.

Lots of departments doing very different and varied things but all departments should know the standards and culture to fit their activities to.

To achieve consistency in what we expect from the students across all subjects. 

The kids will always feel respected and safe wherever they are in school if the quality and standards are the same across all departments.

Students, staff and parents are very proud to work and attend BIS. We consider ourselves as the best in the city. How big a part of this is also knowing Nord Anglia and our role/part within this?  Is it important to also know where NAE want our family of schools to go (accepting of decision made that may/may not impact how our school works e.g. staffing, where finances are directed?)
