Saint Cecilia is the patron saint of musicians, despite being one of the most popular saints, little is know about her. It is believed that she was born in Rome and was married against her will, with a pagan named Valerio. Cecilia got her husband to become a Christian, and was baptized by Pope Urban, along with her brother Tiburcio. He gave burial to the martyrs of the persecution of Turkish Almaquio. Denounced by this practice, both brothers were beheaded. Cecilia was also denounced and sentenced to be thrown into the fire, but it came out unharmed, then they ordered her head cut off. Cecilia was hit three times with an ax and after three days she died. Pope Urban buried her and named her house as basiica
