When I imagine myself administering treatment to my clients, I imagine myself having a 1 on 1 session with my client so I can focus on his or her primary needs. This will allow us to make good use of time so that all of his or her needs are being attended to (without distraction). This approach will ensure we are using our time properly as well as assuring that he or she is receiving the best possible therapy. Furthermore, this will allow me to properly implement and facilitate differentiation with one client in mind.

We all had a different opinion about the different beliefs held about young learners and all beliefs have been seen in classrooms.
Kids need to be secure in the active world is one belief we would like to see used more systematically. We would build up their confidence and help their sense of self growth in order to start that process.

As SLP's we would think that the progress of our students is compelling in its own right. So we would like to help them see their progress. Along with this we would like to challenge our students enough to help them progress without challenging them to the brink of frustration.

Positive classroom management sounds like laughter and kindness. You should feel energy, acceptance, and positive vibes. Rather than creating rules, it is best to create words of wisdom for the students including "serving others and advocate for yourself. It sends the message that in life we are always learning and growing. It is important to focus on the positives and not the tensions of the classroom.

We agree with this philosophy completely. As SLPs, if we don’t believe that our clients can achieve greater things then why would we be wasting our time? Our clients already have greatness in them and it is our job to provide them with the means to achieve and reach their goals. While “perfect speech” may never be reached, we are supposed to take them as far as we can and to keep going.
