         <title>Thoughts on Week 1</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Truthfully I have already done the journal at my hideous Wixsite, link below.<br>Just to be safe, I will also sum up my review here <em>(more like copy paste from wix).<br></em>So here we go~<br><br>In the first week, we were introduced on the gist of what we are going to learn for this course, Educational Technology FCE3401. We were truly awed by the introduction as our expectations were far from the undeniably aspiring reality.</div><div><br></div><div>We were asked by Dr Mas, what was the first thing that crossed our mind when we heard the course title, Educational Technology. Basically, we all thought that we are going to learn on how to integrate technology in our teaching. </div><div><br></div><div>However, we later learned that we are going to design an augmented reality and gamification. As a game fan myself, this is surely a good start to captivate my interest in learning this course!</div><div>​</div><div>During the tutorial class, carried out by Miss Eliza, we were exposed to the rubric that are important during the evaluation for teaching and lesson plan.</div><div>​</div><div>From that, we were able to critiques how a nice lesson plan should be. It was informative as we usually do it based on our own knowledge without considering the important aspects of evaluation. Through this, we finally got to see the crucial elements in constructing lesson plans and the way the carry out the classes.</div><div>​</div><div>These are all for Week 1 classes.</div><div>​</div><div>Looking forward to next classes!</div>]]></description>

         <title>Thoughts on Week 2</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hello there~ I'm back.<br>Our second lecture class started with refreshing back the Course Pocket since few of us were not around during the 1st Week.<br><br>We were tasked to define 'technology' and 'educational technology' by referring to the video played. From my understanding, technology could be defined as human's innovation and creation to ease lifestyle. It is crucial for us to know well how to manage and use technology effectively. Thus, as a teacher, it is one of our roles to expose students to the right tools and their right functions. An example of a technology could be as simple as a key. Without key, we could not lock or unlock a door. Without key, it would be unsafe as it would lead to people breaking into it effortlessly. Without a key, I cannot unlock your heart. Eh? :P<br><br>From the lesson taught by Dr Mas, we learned that technology is not always digital. It could be in the form of hard or soft technology. The examples are: soft technology is sewing by hand, hard technology is sewing by sewing machine.<br><br>As for educational technology, it could be defined as the aid in teaching and learning process. There are a few roles of educational technology which include to increase students' interest, as an aid to be more creative and to help lesson to be more effective.<br><br>That sums up our lesson on Monday by Dr Mas and she ended the class by dropping a bombshell. THERE IS A QUIZ NEXT WEEK!<br><br>On Wednesday, during our class with Miss Eniza, we were taught about ASSURE Model. There are also 4 main components that need to be considered by writing learning objectives which could be simplified as ABCD. Audience, Behaviour, Condition and Degree.<br><br>During this tutorial, we were exposed to KSSM and DSKP and after several heated arguments and bickering, we were tasked with different topics for our Assignment 1, Woohoo. And thanks to Sakina's lucky hand, we are assigned for tense topic, which I think would be far easier that a few other topics assigned.<br><br>That is it for Week 2. I will not say I can't wait for Week 3 due to the presence of that Quiz.. huhu.. Wish us luck! :D</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Our lecture class started with~<br>Of course, the quiz. Luckily it was a short quiz, if not I would have flunked that real hard..<br>The lecture proceeded with buzz discussion on the domains of educational technology. We were to work in small groups and each group had to pick one topic to discuss on.<br>My group chose to present on Domain of Development. <br>After a few minutes of discussion, we had a Gallery Walk where each group share their ideas with other groups and also visit other groups to attain knowledge on their topic.<br>It was a fun activity even though I did not get the chance to visit all other groups because of time-constraint.<br><br>Thoughts on tutorial class is below~ </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Our class on Monday was postponed to make way for preparations for the next day event, where Dr Maszlee Malik visit PFC.<br><br>Our class on Wednesday, facilitated by Miss Eniza was so much fun. We were tasked to brainstorm on our board game. Since our group's theme is Wonderful World, we would use a world map as our board game, where the players (2-4) will travel the world.<br><br>Just as the basic of board game, players have to roll the dice, stop and answer the questions on Past Continuous Tense. They are given three hearts and with every wrong answer, their life will be deducted by one.<br><br>We had so much fun discussing, throwing in ideas for this project. It was a lil bit extreme but we hope we could manage to make it to life! Just as Solehah said, "Our ideas are gempak, but i think our phone would explode during the process" <br><br>Hahaha. But I guess, it is better to dream big and work hard to achieve it and adapt, accommodate and improvise from time to time.<br><br>Looking forward for next!!!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On Week 5, we started our lesson with Pictionary game. <br>We learned about Concept of Media. <br>There was a slot where we had to share what is one of the media that we remember. Mine is about Misteri DeLaia Movie. I know it from a friend who insisted to watch it together. It was meaningful as I rarely watch horror movies in cinema, especially if it is local movie. The effect of the movie towards me is that I could not go to the toilet alone at night.<br><br>During the class, we were asked to draw a narwhal, only referring to the description in words form. After we had drawn the picture based on our own imagination, Dr. showed us the real picture of narwhal.<br><br>The activity was interesting and gave me an idea of the activities that could be carried out during lessons.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On Week 7, we learned about Integration of Media &amp; Technology.<br>There were a few models that were taught this week such as TIP Model.<br><br>One of the activities that was conducted this week is the implementation of TPACK Model which comprises of three components. The components are technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge and content knowledge.<br><br>Each person was tasked to write two examples for each components and put it into the cup labelled respectively. Then we had to draw lots and think of the lesson that could be taught by referring to the examples drawn from each cup.<br><br>Ours were as follow:<br>T- Youtube<br>P- Discussion<br>C- Novel<br><br>T- Songs<br>P- Brainstorming<br>C- Bernoulli's principle<br><br>T- slides<br>P- experiment<br>C- convection<br><br>It was a fun activity as it taught us to be flexible and creative in coming up with relevant lessons and activities related to the components drawn.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During our lecture class on Monday, Dr Mas taught us about NABC Method of presentation. NABC is an acronym which stands for Needs, Approach, Benefits and Competitors.<br>We were assigned to prepare slides on NABC which explains on our project of board game. After the preparation, we were tasked to present our slides to our friends. This is a fundamental process as we could receive comments from other groups and improvise our project accordingly. We received positive feedback from our friends and also receive constructive comments on ways to improvise our project as well as the presentation itself.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On Wednesday, we attended a Board Game Development workshop delivered by Prof. Madya Dr. Fazli Sabri. He is the founder of Bijak Wang. <br>We gained input on how to develop a good board game complemented with the example of interactive board games that has been developed.<br><br>During the workshop, there was a session where we had to present our mock-up to students from other class, third year of BPBM. During the sharing, we could listen to various ideas from other groups. We were able to receive useful and beneficial input from Dr. Mas and was able to think of better improvisation for our board game development.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On Week 10, we had a 3D Printing, Mock-up Development and Innovation Workshop by Dr. Saiful Hasley Ramli. It lasted from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm. It was a fun and interactive workshop and we enjoyed most of the workshop. It was a mind-blowing workshop as we were exposed with the creative innovation and technology especially in 3D printing.<br><br>The last slot was a slot where we had to innovate and invent something that could ease a situation provided.<br><br>In summary, it was a fun workshop and unlike the typical workshop where we have to sit and listen throughout the whole slot.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The end of the semester is nearing. Have we finished our tasks? Of course no! T^T<br>On Monday, we had a seminar by three excellent speakers. It was a nice presentation and we learnt a lot by the three speakers. The topic touched was mainly on the integration of this nice development of gamification in education. One of the thing that caught my attention was because the final presenter was not in educational field so what he talked on was based on his own experience.<br><br>There was no class on Wednesday because it was Labour's Day!~<br><br>Attached is our board game.          <description><![CDATA[<div>On Monday, we were given an activity where we have to comment and contrast two different posters. It was a fun activity. The different types of posters were the infographic and timeline posters.<br>By conducting this activity, we could be aware of the fundamental element in designing a poster so that we will not repeat the same mistakes as the one we commented before.<br><br>Meanwhile on Wednesday, we learned to use another application which is Metaverse. I personally prefer this application than HP Reveal. It is more user-friendly and could be used to ask questions accordingly.<br><br>I really love all this kind of tech thingy so I really enjoyed learning about all this stuffs.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Thoughts on Week 13~</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In Week 13, we had our Monday class with Miss Eniza where we were allowed to prepare and finish our materials including the poster, the video as well as the board games.<br>For our group, namely Benedict Team, we delegated the tasks among ourselves. Solehah would be in charge of the manual and answer sheets, Kina would edit the video, Nisya would design the poster while I am in charge of the experience making by using Metaverse.<br>Truthfully, we were too caught up in doing our tasks to the point that we forgot to take any photos!<br><br><br>For Wednesday class, under the teaching by Dr Mas, we were tasked to sit in groups of four where we have to analyse the journal on Learning Management System (LMS). It was an eye-opening activity as we get to know more deeply about the development of LMS throughout the years. One of the example of LMS that we have been using all this while is Putrablast itself which was initially named as PutraLMS.<br><br>After the class, our group took some time to record a part of the educational video outside of the classroom.<br><br>Again.. we forgot to snap any photos. Now I need to pester my classmates and ask for any photos. haaaa....~<br><br>Edit: Here is a picture of us, busily doing our task..          <description><![CDATA[<div>Hello and good day!<br>Today marked the final class of Educational Technology course. All of the groups were required to bring their board game to class, Putra Future Classroom and present on the game that they developed.<br><br>It was truly fun as we got to see our classmates creativity in developing board game. I am extremely proud of my group, Benedict Group as we had done our level best in finishing this task. It was quite sad to end this but we had real fun doing this. We started from scratch and here we are now, our ideas being brought to life!<br><br>My group members, all of us always thought of selling this idea of us. We are undoubtedly money-eyed people hehe. If we were given a chance to do this again, we would grab this chance no matter what.<br><br>We had real fun in doing this.
