This video emphasizes the importance and understanding of investing at a young age. Richard explains essential terminology in-regards to investing including: the significance of diversification when investing, compound interest and re-investing. The value of having a well planned financial plan, that includes retirement funds, is also highly noted throughout the video.
We chose this video because of the information it brought to our attention. One piece of information that we thought was unique to this video is the explanation of how investing can save your money's value against inflation - which was something that we hadn't put much thought into. It is a less talked about factor when considering investing. Every year the cost of living increases. If your money's value can increase accordingly, then the question that is brought up is: why not invest it to do so?

This website will briefly describe what bonds are, and how a bond will work. It will explain some of the several ways to invest in bonds. When investing there will always be risks. This site will explain what some of the risks of bond investments can be. 
This link is very informative. The information on the site is very easy to understand for an individual investing for the first time. It breaks down what is need to know into different categories, so it is possible to find what you are looking for quickly. It was important to us to be able to understand the information provided on the site. We were able to understand how a bond works after looking into this website. We found it interesting that bonds will fall in value when the interest rates rise, and increase when they plummet. The website below explains what a Mutual Fund is, what kinda of Mutual Funds there are, advantages and disadvantages and lastly the type of return you achieve with a Mutual Fund investment. 
Overall investing in a mutual fund is easy, low-stress, allows the investor to attain a diverse portfolio, and the funds are managed by specialists.  The advantage that caught our attention the most, was the ability to have access to investments you would not necessarily have access to - if you were not invested through a mutual fund.
We decided this website was the most informative when talking about all topics regarding Mutual Funds. This site talks about the large variety of ETF's that are available. The pros to investing in an ETF are mentioned on the website. After talking about the advantages the website goes on to answer many of the frequently asked questions. 
This website has a lot of information on ETFs. How to buy ETFs is important information that is listed on this site. We both liked the fact that a number of questions that we had about ETFs were answered at the bottom of the website. Not many websites had this section easy to find.

The website that is below specifically talks about the advantages and disadvantages of investing in the stock market. Stocks can be very rewarding but are also very risky. 
It is very important to us to know the possible risks when investing money. It was easy for us to navigate the website to find what we were looking for. By knowing the pros and cons first it allowed us to decide whether we could afford to invest in stocks, before spending to much time learning what they are. We thought this would be a good website to share because after it lists the five advantages and disadvantages of stock investing it gives a brief summary of a smart strategy for investing.

This video gave us a better understanding about being aware of these fees before investing, and it allows us to make a smarter decision. This video broke-down basic questions to help organize our goals, before and after we start investing. This questions included: Are we in a good financial position to invest? How and where we want to invest? How much are we going to invest?
We incorporated this video to showcase how to taking action once you have understood the importance of investing. Below you will find a video link that discusses the "non-traditional" investments that may be appealing. These are less common was you can invest your money. The disadvantages and advantages are weighed of each. Some of these investment options include: Real Estate (REIT), commodities, derivatives. 
The most interesting information this video taught us is the concept of derivatives. Derivatives is a complex "gamble" on if the price will increase or decrease. This is a new investment option that we didn't know existed. 
We chose this video because of the distinctive information it gave about types of investments. Most websites and video only provide material on tradition investment types.
