My name is Angel and I am 16 years old. This picture represents one of my favorite things to do which is go to Sarasota and go to the beach with my family that live there. Besides going to the beach, my favorite things to do for fun are hanging out with my friends and family, playing video games, and watching sports and shows. Every time the Heat or the Dolphins play I will probably be watching the game. When neither of them are playing I am watching shows on Netflix or playing Call of Duty or FIFA. Another thing I like doing is going out with family or good friends. My favorite restaurant to go to with my family is Flanigan's. I used to go a lot when I was a kid, which was one of the reasons why I was a very chubby kid.

Future Plans

My plan for the future is to get into a good college to help me pursue a good job. My dream school would be the University of Florida because a lot of my family has gone there and it is one of the best schools in Florida. After college, I would like to do something in the medical field or own my own business.

Accomplishments

One thing I am proud of is having good grades last year and passing all my AP exams. Last year was one of my best years in this school and it was the first time I got straight A's in a quarter since elementary school. One of my biggest weaknesses in years prior was procrastinating. I leave a lot of assignments last minute and sometimes don't have enough time to do all of them. The first year I stopped procrastinating a lot my grade got better.

Top of the World

One moments where I felt on top of the world is when my dad surprised me with suite tickets to a Dolphin's game that were gifted to him by his boss. This was one of the best games I watched live in a stadium. The Dolphins beat the Cowboys on a game winning field goal to go to the playoffs. What made this game better is that I hate the Cowboys and the game was on Christmas Eve. Even though I felt on top of the world in this moment, the Dolphins didn't win another game and lost in the first round of the playoffs.

Embarrassing moment

One embarrassing thing that happened to me was in elementary school. I was in fifth grade and I was using the bathroom. When I was leaving I tried closing the door and it wasn't closing. I tried closing it three times and it wouldn't close all the way. When I looked down I realized I kept jamming the door into a little kid's finger who was in pre- k 4. Since he was a lot shorter than me I couldn't see him until I looked down and heard him crying. His teacher screamed at me in front my whole class and took me to the principal's office.

Teacher

If I was a teacher I would assign visual or physical projects because I think that helps students learn more. For example, the picture above is a rollercoaster project that I did in middle school for science class to learn about kinetic energy. This was one of my favorite projects I’ve done because it was satisfying when the rollercoaster worked. I think visual assignments are more fun than normal assignments because they get students more engaged.
