Jack Gruener worked very hard at the camps to keep from being shot. Went to 10 different camps. Forced to do the Death March. Also all of his family was shot by Nazis. Forced labor. Had to hide in a dark room with no windows for two days strait (no talking not making any sound or doing anything) to prevent the Gestapo from coming a shooting them.
