         <description><![CDATA[<div>The benefits of having a balanced diet when it comes to nutrition is that it can prevent diseases such as CHD, Strokes, Type 2 Diabetes and some cancers ( larynx and mouth )<br>The main components of a balanced diet is:<br>• Variety of fruit and vegetables ( 5 a day )<br>• Plenty of fibre filled foods, especially whole grains ( Brown Rice and Bread )<br>• Protein filled foods ( Meats and Dairy products )<br>• Dairy products ( Milks and Yogurts<br>• Unsaturated oils and fats ( Found in oily fish and peanuts )<br>•Natural sugars ( most fruits )&nbsp;<br>• Foods that are low in salt<br>These foods are essential for a balanced diet as they have macronutrients such as Protein, Carbohydrates, Fats and all of them contain calories which is needed to supply the body with energy.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Macronutrients are the nutritive components of food that the body needs for energy and to maintain the body's structure and systems.<br><br>Proteins provide essential amino acids whilst Fats provide essential fatty Macronutrients, essential for energy and bodily functions, consist of carbohydrates, the body's primary energy source found in grains, fruits, and vegetables; proteins, crucial for tissue building and found in meat, fish, eggs, and plant-based foods; and fats, vital for energy and vitamin absorption, found in avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil. Balancing these in your diet is crucial for maintaining health, with individual needs determining the ideal ratio. Overconsumption may lead to weight gain, so sticking to your regular calorie intake can help manage this.</div>]]></description>
