In my home country(GHANA) the use of ehealth is not quit dominant but is getting improving. The challenge in this is the old professionals who are use to the old methods , the young ones are quit fast in adopting the use of ehealth than the old ones and also IT literacy is a major challenge even among the ilite. In percentage wise i can say we have achieved about 30-50% as compared to Finland. Though in Ghana there is a centralised data base for the whole country but is not soo familiar with everybody. Most hospitals havé a data base that is entered into the national data system but is not accesible to everbody ; even among the health professionals.

In our home country the use of eHealth is quit similair to Finland. It is common to use electronic devices by docters and patients as well. There are a lot of discussions about some ethical issues, like with EPD's. But people do see the pro's of eHealth in the Netherlands, we think it will become more and more important in the furture. Because it can improve communication, and patient information is easier to acces.

In the Netherlands is the eHealth system comparable with the Finnish system. Healthcare professionals in both countries are supported in their work by using IT. Electronic services are also used by citizens(e.g. apps), we think that this is more developed in the Netherlands than in Finland. So in the Netherlands it's not only common to use several devices only for doctors, but also for patients. Both countries are still improving.

eHealth isn't developed yet and in comparision to the Nederlands there is still much work to do in this sector. There is not national database of patient files. Almost everything is keeped in the every hospital itself. In the Netherlands there is not a big difference between old and young doctors. In Slovakia there is.

I think that eHealth system is not comparable with dutch of finnish system. We cant order medicine online and its not so usual to make appointment online. But it is common to use electronic devices by doctors. I think that problem is also in older doctors. They are using the old methods.
