I chose this mask because a like so much , the mask is espectacular and has many colors .

~~Description~~: The person who created the catrina is Jose Guadalupe Posada, The catrina is so beautiful it has many colors, and it has a lot of decoration things and it is big. The catrina is a mask that is used on October 31 in a festival of the day of the dead in Mexico.The mask is used for entertainment in the festival. Where the festival was created was in Mexico.That is a spectacular festival.The tradition has been celebrated for years in Mexico.The mask is very, very elaborate, it is not basicat all.The person that do this mask takes an eternity to do it .In the mask is essential the colorful.

~~Materials~~: The materials used to create the mask are Paper, Cardboard, Flowers, Paints, Pearl to decorate, Glitter etc.

That mask is employed for the day of the dead in October it is used for the festival and to commemorate their dead relatives.

*Type: In these days masks are very popular since they are lifesavers ~~bacause~~ (spelling) of covid.
Literally, everyone has a mask and consistently covering her or his face with it. But, do you know what a Tiki Mask is?
*Description:
It is a spectacular, elaborate, often funny, often strange mask, that ~~represents~~ part of Hawaiian and Polynesian cultural traditions.
Materials employed:
Ancient Polynesians used hardwood to ~~make~~ (verb form) masks and finished ~~them~~ (delete this) using oils and waxes. Today we can find Tiki mask made of different materials, too.
*When or what for it is employed:
Tiki means, the first created man for polynesians, in Hawaii, according to legend, before the missionaries arrived, they belived in many gods (1820). The masks were carved to take on the specific trait of a certain god.
*What it represents:

Many people think that Tiki masks only represent gods in the Pacific islands. I found that their essential purpose were worship for guarding and protecting the borders of homes and temples, and to protect who wore them from evil ~~spirits~~ or even increase their fertility and luck.
