Currently, the agri-food supply chain, does not offer fair prices to producers, often forcing them to operate at a loss. Additionally, the prices consumers pay for the final products are frequently higher than the amounts received by the farmers. In order to solve these problems, we are creating “Field to Fork”.

Our startup aims to revolutionize the way we consume fresh food. Our main goal is to connect local producers directly with end consumers, eliminating intermediaries and ensuring the highest quality products. We want to create an online marketplace where consumers can access a wide variety of seasonal fruits, vegetables, and greens, grown sustainably and with a lower environmental impact. At the same time, we strive to empower small producers by providing them with a platform to market their products in a fairer and more profitable way.

The heart of our start-up is the logistic. We do all the steps from the field to the fork using only 4 steps:

-Online shopping from your mobile phone

-Direct transportation from farmers to the warehouse

-Shipping preparation: Because you don´t need 10kg of avocados

-Delivery: Just like amazon, but with fresh food

How long will it take us to launch it?

Sebastián will be the operations director or COO. He will ensure that the product or service is developed and delivered efficiently. He will use his organization skills, manage processes, solve problems, and focus on efficiency. His responsibilities will be to design and optimize logistic and production processes. The product’s or service’s quality will need to be managed, he will also supervise the supply chain and the suppliers, and he will coordinate with other departments to meet deadlines and objectives.
