         <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe that Hassan wasn't clear on rights from wrongs. He did not grow up literate so he may have had a disadvantage to understanding most situations. However, I think Hassan accepted the love he thought he deserved. He thought it was okay for Amir to treat him badly because of his strong attachment to him. </div>]]></description>
