It relies on very sunny days for the clearest images and is not really designed for indoor photography. It comes with 3 gels to cover the flash which tints the image in the chosen colour. You can also mix these colours to create different colours and the camera comes with a purple film which shifts greens to purple. It shows a boulder formed 55 million years ago in present day with a legend for public awareness. 

For me this image embodies the idea of the past and present coexisting in the same moment. Here you can see some of the textures in the rock's surface is actually made up of smaller rocks. A lot of the land has been preserved since the mid 1700s when John Cator purchased the land and built his home there. In this sense time has stood still here and we can see how it would have looked 321 years ago. We often think of time as linear but it travels in all sorts of directions depending on where we stand and how we measure it.

This tree has grown in the direction of the sun which appears to have changed positions at almost equal junctions. The marked presence of man on the ancient tree suggests man's desire to be immortalised by choosing a material that will live beyond a human lifespan. However the very act itself is damaging to the material and this contamination speaks more of man's desire to connect with nature and its resulting destructive effects.
