In the book the child tries everything to test her mom and make her frustrated and get angry at her such as she dropped the eggs on the way home and she cracked all of them but she still loves her child after all she's put her through and the mistakes she's made. Also in The fault in our stars even when they are just talking on the phone Hazel is so happy and joyous and in the poem it says"My sweetheart my heart stops on every call". I think this song goes well with the book because Hazel believes that her love for Augustus is harder for her to "carry" than her oxygen tank.
