E: It is possible that you were provoked and snapped just once. The idea of your actions not defining you is an important idea, S: the reason being that some do not want to be defined by their past actions, or how they acted once or twice. Would you want to be defined off of the way you used to act or what you have done once of twice. Your actions can definitetly define how OTHERS will think of you or percieve you as, because they might have only seen that one side of you, or they just don't know you like you know yourself or others do. Although it might be different for everyone, I believe you should not judge others based on some of their actions.

(X) For an example of the former, I've had people in my life who apologize with words but not with their actions. (E) It says a lot about who a person is when they only say "sorry" but don't make an effort to change their actions. (S) In this way, I believe how we choose to treat others shapes a lot about who we are as a person, and how we show up in the world. (A) But I also don't think our actions always define us. (X) For example, I don't think it's fair to label people in prison as criminals because they committed a crime. (E) Committing a crime doesn't define who you are. It is just one small aspect of a human being. Sometimes people make mistakes. Sometimes people commit crimes to survive. That one singular action doesn't define that entire human being. (S) In conclusion, I do not believe we can always be defined by our actions, but I do believe that our actions can play a role in shaping who we are and how we show up in the world.

For example people might judge of who we are maybe by our looks or the way we look or maybe by the way our face looks. Everyone in this world will judge you. When you get to know the person then that's when you will say "I finally know how this person is" when in reality you just thought they looked mad or sad but in reality that is just the way you look. For example guys who dress up like the other guys with Dickies or pro club people will automatically think oh they are bad influencers because of the way they dress but in reality that's not the way they act. Deep down they are all different. When you get to know a person or you see a person first think and don't judge because you never know what a person goes through and maybe they are going through something at that moment they just hide it but never judge a book by it's cover.
