Taking a subject or movement that you may be passionate about is always a great first step. This image shows citizenship because Sojourner Truth advocated for what she believed was right and that had to change for the best for future generations. Not only do you guide those to meet their goals, but you make sure to follow through with your commitments while also representing good morals. This artifact shows leadership as it was used as a form of communication to guide others to the right direction on how to fulfill a certain goal they had to meet for a certain ruler. Participating in work that you truly are passionate for, doesn't require payment but instead you get the satisfaction to show your willingness of making the world a better place. This in itself, can be viewed as your way of making a mark.
