         <description><![CDATA[<div>Yes, I am embarrassed to say, that I am guilty of teasing someone for mispronouncing a word or more than one word. My MIL struggled with the words "chair" and "chandelier." She took it in a joking manner, not taking it defensively. Her reply was, "Well that's just how I talk!" I've always admired her confidence. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Absolutely!  Being a part of the Deaf community and working in Deaf education, you see a lot of people who don't know anything about Deaf people or their culture.  So many hearing people hear a Deaf person who uses their voice and automatically assumes that they are unintelligent.  Intelligence is not a direct correlation to quality of speech.</div>]]></description>
