Good: I see direct rebuttals in this debate. There are direct responses to each argument and there were major clashes in this debate such as impacts of food inside and outside of school.
Bad: I want both sides to engage in more weighing of impact, especially in the final speech.


Con side, tell me why the health of children is the most important clash. Also, a major mistake you made in this debate includes how all your alternatives are not exclusive. Education and the push for athletics can happen on the pro world at the same time. Because the pro side did not rebut the second argument of economical benefits, re-mention this in the summary speech to make it a more definite win.

Pro, please tell me why healthy eating inside of school is the most important aspect. You could point out why the school should not be responsible for eating outside of school. Also, you guys dropped/did not response to the argument of economical benefits on the con side. Please address every argument.

Why I choose the con side for the win: Although there were a lot of issues inside the con case, they did point out the importance of backlash of only providing healthy food and therefore leading to children cramming junk food outside of school.     The argument of responsibility to take care of its own citizens was the strongest.     1. Opposition was able to show significant impacts, (too costly, higher taxes, citizen hostility as well as lack of quality of life for both accepting countries and native countries) that went mostly unanswered by the proposition team. 
    2, the opposition team responded quite well to the proposition team's arguments. Yes, prop did have good use of pathos and emotional control, but I believe that the arguments made by opp was significantly more realistic as well as understanding of the stakeholders in this debate.     One main reason for their victory is the fact that the opposition team made a contradiction with their MAIN arguments, thereby rendering them both invalid in the debate. Furthermore, though the proposition team did not directly engage with that contradiction, it was enough for me to accept their arguments based on the fact that they at least pointed it out.
