My travel experience in Milano

As I step foot onto the streets, the sky was a beautiful gray and raindrops were trinkling all over the city. I stroll through the city, the air smelled like rain, and the local bakeries of so many Italian desserts and dishes, I decided to get a cappuccino and a cornetto (croissants), when I walked into the cafe the air was filled with fresh baked goods and some locals chatting in italian i ordered and took in the scenery the outdoors was filled with so much life and italian culture paintings, art, and so much more. As I got my order from the nice waitress, I thanked her by saying "grazie mille" meaning thank you very much in Italian as I sat there and ate, the place was so relaxed, no rush or anything, the food was amazing, it tasted just perfect and the cappuccino tasted perfect. not too sweet, not too bitter.

The food I have tried was incredible throughout my entire time in Milano, Italy. The restaurants take their time and have a nice slow pace, but it's worth the wait because the food is amazing. Like when I went to the cafe, the croissant and cappuccino, the cappuccino was perfect, not too sweet but also not too bitter, and when I tried the croissant, it was perfectly cooked. In the afternoon of my first day in Italy, I decided to head to a local restaurant and to try something new, I decided to try ghocci, which is dumplings with a potato filling served with a cream based sause that where warm and freshly made and to drink i decided to get red wine with it redwine is mostly drunk in italy and expresso is commonly drunken the wine was bitter and strong whichwas pretty good andthe gnocci was just perfect it was warm and the sause was creamy and had a tomato flavor. For lunch, I went to a local bakery and ordered a tiramisu and a cup of espresso, which was amazing as usual, it was rich and sweet and the espresso was nice but a bit bitter.

I was at the airport as I waved goodbye to my mother and brothers and my father. I got on the plane, and it was pretty okay. My family was neutral, like they didn't care or mind, and my friends missed me dearly. I was excited, but also nervous about it. I was gonna be in Italy. I was sitting in my seat, a window seat, as the pilot spoke through the intercom. I buckled up and stared at the window in awe. I was thinking about how my trip would go, I sat there staring at my window, seeing the lovely pale blue sky with the fluffy white clouds I started feeling tired during the first 2 hours of my trip so I decided to take a nap so that look away from the 16 hours that was gonna take to get to Italy so with 14 hours and 30 minutes left I watched "The outsiders" movie to pass the time I felt some mixed feelings of melancholy and joy melancholy because I left my home and friends and family but joy because I finally get to go to the place I dreamed of going ever since I was a little toddler but I ignored my negativity and hoped that it wont come back I kept watching the movie and let out a small sigh after I finished the movie I decided to take another nap after the second nap of 1 hour I decided to read "The Mona Lisa vanishes" by Nicholas Day by hour 15 I was a bit restless but I managed to pull through and as I watched the window the view was beautiful the clouds a pale gray like my sweat I'm wearing but much lighter the sky was covered In gray cloudsand finally the moment I longed for I finally feel the plane land after the process of getting out of the airport I quickly noticed the raindrops falling and the countless people who had umbrellas I was relived I brought my own and I am wearing something that could cover me up. I walked, the place was beautiful, the marble buildings and everything.

I wonder what people think of my beauty and grace

I see so many monuments and art

I want more people to stay with me

I am a beautiful place with a lot of Italian culture

I pretend (something your country might pretend)

I feel many beautiful buildings and rain

I touch all the buildings that are on me and art

I worry if everyone would leave me for another

I cry when the people leave me for another

I understand why people build me to look beautiful
