The Sanctuary discovered at the end of the last book released the remaining loric power that was placed their after the war on the planet Lorien from before the first book, which allowed the humans to develop powers to help the Loric heroes fight off the Mogadorians.
- Why is Five not helping the Lorien people? Five began to lean towards the other side of the war before he was found by the other Loriens placed on earth. Setrakus Ra found him and manipulated him to believe that the Lorien people are fighting against what is right and best for the universe.
- Why are the Mogadorians attacking the earth? They are attacking earth for the same reason that they attack Lorien, because they want to rid the universe of the Lorien rule. - I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz because this song talks about a man who says that he won't give up on him and a girl because he believes that they can continue their relationship through anything that comes their way. John would like this song because when Sarah left her home to help him, he told her that he wouldn't let her get hurt at all, and through everything that is happening, like the world almost coming to an end, they manage to maintain their relationship as well as stay focused on what is happening in the moment.
- Five More Minutes by Scotty McCreery because this song talks about many precious times in the song writer's life where all he needed was 5 more minutes to make it that much better. Pittacus Lore is actually two people, Jobie Hughes and James Frey who both work together to write the Lorien Legacies series.
2. Pittacus Lore is also a character mentioned in the first book as Lorein's ruling elder, who also escaped to earth with the children, but his whereabouts are unknown.
3. Jobie Hughes, another Elder of Lorien is also a tribute to one of the halves of Pittacus Lore (the author) who is also hiding on earth in the series.
4. James Frey also authored (alone) "A Million Little Pieces" which was a very controversial book among followers of Oprah Winfrey.
5. James Frey also published many other novels and actually wrote screenplays to "Kissing a Fool" and "Sugar: The Fall of the West".
6. Jobie Hughes spent 5 years after college working minimum wage jobs after a championship in wrestling and an athletic scholarship before starting his career in writing.
7. Hughes' work has been translated in 26 languages and published in 48 different countries.
8. Frey was dropped by his literary manager after the incident with Oprah Winfrey's fans.
9. Oprah issued a formal live apology to Frey after these issues were solved.
10. Frey attended Denison University in the class of 92.

From what little I could find about "Pittacus Lore" I cannot see what would have inspired this unique story to emerge from these 2 authors. 2. Do you think the addition of people from earth to your team is holding you back from completing your goal? I would ask this because it would certainly seem like a burden to ask regular people to keep up with and fight another alien race when the ones that took them in have superpowers.
3. If given the chance, would you kill Five, or turn him back to your side? Five was a traitor in the book where he was introduced. He pretended to be with them and lured them into a trap. I would ask this because it would be interesting to hear if he would still take him in after everything that he had done to him and his friends.
4. What are your chances of defeating the Mogadorians and Setrakus Ra? I would ask this to see how much of a chance that he thinks he and his team have, because from the reader's perspective it seems like at the very least an uphill battle because there's only 7 of them against an entire army and one of their own.
5. Do you feel close to everyone on your team? I would ask this because not everyone gets along perfectly, even in situations like these. The Mogadorians attempted to eradicated them completely but the elders send 10 children and 10 guardians on escape pods to earth and some elders also escaped and placed a Sanctuary in a very secluded location that could only be accessed by the Garde (the 10 children). A spell was placed on the numbered children, 1-10, which made them unable to die when separated, unless you were the next number in line. When one is killed a scar is seared onto their ankle, signifying that one of their friends has died.
