         <description><![CDATA[<p>  Riley Griffin, G1 Phase, cells grow and preform their normal metabolic functions. S Phase, eukaryotic chromosomes undergo replication. Then after the chromosomes have doubled the cell enters another growth phase, G2, where it prepares for cell division. Then in mitosis the chromosome rearranges to ensure that each daughter cell receives an entire set of chromosomes.</p>]]></description>

This is made up of two growing phases and a synthesis phase in which DNA and organelles are replicated, and DNA strands form into chromosomes in order to prepare for mitosis. Mitosis is the last part of the cell cycle in which the cell (now with double its original DNA and organelles amount) lines its chromosomes up down the middle, and the cell splits into two, with half of everything going to one side, and the other half going to the other.</p>]]></description>

During this process, the cell has many checkpoints to make sure that the cell during the growth and preparation is growing properly and has all the requirements. If the cell doesn't meet requirements, the cell would stop the growth process to fix the issue or combust. </p>]]></description>

Chromosomes condense the DNA and store it so the instructions are organized. These chromosomes then line up in the middle of the mother cell, and they essentially get pulled in half until one half of all the chromosomes goes to one daughter cell, and the other half goes to the second daughter cell.</p>]]></description>

It is different in prokaryotes and eukaryotes because prokaryotes don't have a nucleus and do not complete mitosis like eukaryotes. In the DNA Synthesis (S) Phase, DNA replication occurs, and the now two copies of DNA are ready for cell division. During the Growth 2 (G2) Phase, the cell produces proteins and prepares for cell division. Finally, in the Mitosis (M) Phase, the two copies of DNA are separated and the cell splits in two by dividing the cytoplasm.  </p>]]></description>
